We were so happy with Simone. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about all things Rome. My 16 year old daughter and I did this tour on the day of our arrival and it was a perfect start. We asked Simone if he would take us on a cycling tour of Rome and he was happy to oblige. He changed the meeting point to a local cycle hire shop, and then took us on a 3 hour tour of all the main sights of Rome, filled with fascinating insights and stories, as well as taking us to a few great hidden gems. Simone is personable and provided some local cultural insight. He adapted his tour based in our interest and knowledge. There were 2 minor issues with our tour. We stopped at a modern art museum although neither of us has an interest. It appeared Simone wanted to visit a friend and get us to buy him a coffee. The second is that we were about 20 Meters from the meeting point and Simone couldn't find us. We were the only 2 people standing near the meeting point and obviously waiting for someone. We eventually connected and Simone gave us the full tour. He handled the delay well and we enjoyed the complete 3 hour tour. Historical Rome

Alright, this was a fantastic tour! Simone quickly made my wife and I feel like we had reconnected with an old friend and was showing us his town! As we walked through the less traveled back alleys of Rome walking through open doors he was able to show us some great hidden spots for food, architecture and history! Places we had already walked by but didn't have any idea what was beneath our feet! We had so much fun and chatted with him the whole time. We had an excellent off the beaten path tour with Simone. I loved his approach to walking through open doors to see treasures hidden inside whether it be churches, gardens or other hidden places. We recently took the Family Friendly Rome City Tour with Simone and had a great experience. Our group included my family of 4 (kids aged 8 & 11) and 2 grandparents. Simone was an excellent guide, using his knowledge of Rome's history and his passion for the city to provide a blend of historical insights and engaging stories that kept both the adults and kids entertained. Since we got in on a redeye the same day, about halfway through the tour, the grandparents opted to do less walking and go their separate way. Simone was very understanding and helped them find a convenient spot to rest. For the rest of us, the tour continued smoothly, and we appreciated Simone's flexibility and attentiveness to our needs. We were “first timers” in Rome and were there only for a very short time and interested in getting a first impression of this amazing city. Simone guided us for 3 h through the streets of the center of Rome. He was very friendly and laid back and showed us beautiful places, famous stuff and also unknown courtyards and remarkable buildings. We enjoyed his conversation and his introduction to Rome. Of his own admission, he is not a history buff, but he is very knowledgeable about many aspects of his city. The visit was both very informative and entertaining.
