I suggest taking this tour at the beginning of your stay in Porto. André does a great job explaining the history to give you an idea of what you are seeing as you take your pictures. But André’s walking route also gives you a great opportunity to get familiar with the area. When I was on my own later, I always figured out where I was because of André’s tour. Not yo mention, I got some great images! Well worth the experience!

Andre not only showed us all the best photo spots but his knowledge of the history and architecture of the city was a treat. I try to take a photo tour of most new cities I go to and this was hands down the best (and a relatively incredible valute). Thank you for a wonderful morning, Andre! My one and only suggestion would be to start the tour a bit earlier as towards the end of the tour the sun was high and the light was harsh. That said, my wife and I both got so many great shots and memories that will last a lifetime. Fantastic Tour!

Andre was terrific. He showed us parts of Porto that we never would have visited, plus he had the perspective of a someone who lived there throughout his life, which enhanced the eperience. Andre is an historian and a professional photographer, the perfect combination for someone who likes to learn the history and take photographs. Two friends and I spent four days in Porto in January. I had booked André a few weeks beforehand, and communication was always excellent, from start to finish. André responded immediately to enquiries or requests, and made sure that everything went smoothly for us. We were delighted to have André as our private tour guide, first in the city (where he showed us some hidden gems of places), and then the following day when he took us by car through the beautiful Douro Valley.
