Cristina recently hosted me for a local Medici/Pitti Palace tour. She was very friendly from the get go and immediately impressed me with her level of knowledge during the walking tour portion. Along with discussing the life and relevance of the Medici family she was additionally good with small talk about family and life and was extremely welcoming. She gave an outstanding tour of the palace and Boboli Gardens (as an extra) and gave me some great food and shopping recommendations. The heritage of the Medicis is everywhere in Florence and Cristina's tour allowed us to see how all of the stories pièce together rather than just seeing individual buildings and artworks. I set up a tour for myself, my wife and 2 teenage daughters. Cristina asked about our interests so that she could tailor a tour that would be most interesting to us. Taking our input, she created a custom tour that covered history and stories of the Medici, their influence on Florence, their interest in the arts and their role in the Renaissance. Christina was Exceptional!! She arrived early and we sat down to get to know us better and chat about the tour. During that time, she explained what we were going to see on her iPad, which was extremely helpful!I lost my cell phone in between bc I was so excited…she went out of her way to call police and others around to help. We continued with the tour and it was best decision!
