The guide we booked with was not the one who led our tour. Our guide was friendly and had interesting stories about a few specific locations near the main tourist attractions. She gave us a general overview of the different religious groups who have controlled Sevilla. However, she did not offer much in-depth knowledge or local perspective. We had an amazing time! Lola our scheduled guide needed to substitute Chris and the tour was everything we could have asked for. Chris spoke excellent English, gave us fun interesting facts about every monument and building and neighborhood we toured and she was sure to get it all in in time to make the scheduled boat ride at the end of the tour. This tour was not done by Lola! No explanation given as to why not. Instead Christina . I didn’t know what to expect however we were booked for 3 hours and including the 1 hour boat trip it lasted 21/2 hours. We were told the history but it all felt rushed.Monuments of Seville

This tour surpassed my expectations. Chris is very knowledgeable about the history of Seville and history in general, and so we were able to talk about parallels between delivered historical accounts and GoT. Moreover, Chris explained a lot about the art and architecture of the palace through the different centuries and how things evolved. Added to this, Chris shares a lot of the stories and accounts of the kings that occupied the palace and their legacies. Overall there is a wealth of information shared during this tour.Information-dense tour

Booked a month out for walking tour and Alcázar of Seville. The day before Lola tells us there are no tickets for Alcázar. We check on line and there are all kinds of tickets for same day next day etc. She offers us a shorter tour of everything else we were supposed to see. I say ok we’ll go to the Alcázar ourselves in the morning. Asked if we get a discount since what I paid for is not what we’re getting. Lola says yes of course, she’ll make a new booking for us. So I pay for the new booking. Pay to go into Alcázar. And am waiting to see refund for original booking. Now we find out Lola won’t be taking us. Instead it’s her partner Cris. Seems to me something better came along for Lola which is why I title this shuffled off. Cris was very nice by the way and tried hard so I recommend her highly. Anyway after 5 days I send an email to find out where my refund is. It comes shortly after but they refunded the second trip which was only 2/3 the price of the original booking. So I paid for a full trip and bought my own two tickets for the Alcázar. I don’t feel like fighting with them anymore but I have definitely been ripped off. I doubt this would be everyone’s experience but it was mine and I hope it doesn’t happen to others. If you have other options I’d look into themShuffled off

Wow! We were absolutely blown away by our tour with Cris. She started the tour with a visit to the Antiquarium underneath the Metropol parasol, and then led us through a northern area of the city we probably otherwise wouldn’t have known to go to. The tour is exceptional, full of history and also hidden facts and surprises you would not see or hear about otherwise as a tourist. We even popped into one of her friend’s shows for a beer and a few songs, stumbled upon a back alley flamenco performance, and ended the night at a food market. Cris left us with a map and list of recommendations that we used to find a cool spot for dinner. Do not miss this tour if you travel to Seville, it’s very special.Hidden Gems Exceeded Expectations!

When I was trying to find Game of Thrones tour in Seville, I was having a hard time to book a pure Game of Thrones tour, fortunately Lola was one of the locals who did the tour. We booked a personalized tour to go to Italica where they shot the Dragonpit meeting and the coronation of Bran stark. She had friends who were extra for the Game of Thrones so she definitely had inside information, anecdotes about the actors. She also had pictures to show where they shot the scenes. It was quite hot, so good thing she brought water with her, along with a driver to drive us around and bring us to the next spot where the death of Cersei and Jaimie Lannister was shot. It was not accessible to the public, but taking a picture thru a hole, you could really tell that it is the area where they shot it. Lastly, we went to the Real Alcazar, truly a beautiful palace and garden. Again, she had inside information and pictures to show wherein the scenes were shot. They did not need much CGI because it was already amazing! If you are a Game of Thrones fan, this is something you should not miss! Lola is a true Game of Thrones fan and if you are a GOT fan, you should not miss this!

We met Chris at plaza triunfo for a tour around Santa Cruz and it far exceeded Expectations! Chris was very knowledgeable and told so many different parts of the history that we needed to write some things down to go back and learn even more! I spent 6 months here years ago and learned so much that I never knew about If you want to learn some secret beautiful spots in Sevilla then sign up ASAP. Connecting with Cristina was truly a good experience. She knows & started us off with a good history of the city and its background. I don't think the sights that we were shown were that terribly interesting. Also Chris was a little hard to understand. She spoke very fast, had a very strong accent, and pronounced some English words with emphasis on the wrong syllable. My husband tuned her out about half way through because to him she was speaking a foreign language. It would be nice to hear about some of the actual artists that live and/or work in the areas we were shown.Chris shared some interesting sights

This was a wonderful tour for Game of Thrones fans! Walking around, the focus was on scenes from Game of Thrones (complete with pictures, which was incredibly helpful), but we were also able to explore on our own afterwards. My husband and I did three guided tours in Spain. Our tour with Teresa was special, because it was more of a local‘s point of view. Teresa is very friendly and knowledgeable, she was my favourite guide of the three. Her tour provided history, architecture, and stories. It was vibrant, slightly eclectic, and very very interesting. Our time with Teresa was both practical and profound. We were oriented to the city and took a walk through time. From 200 BC to today, Teresa showed us how the layers of history transformed the buildings, culture and people of Sevilla (and Spain). She explained how mosques were converted (pun intended) into churches, the relevance of orange trees for the past 2000 years, and why ham is such a staple in the Spanish diet. Teresa also introduced us to the story of Santa Justa and her sister Rufina, Sevilla’s first Christians (and arguably the city’s first feminists). HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour and Teresa in particular - it is one of the most memorable experiences of our 17 days in Spain! UPDATE: Two days later, we had a tour of the Cathedral and the Alcazar and were pleasantly surprised that Teresa was our guide again! Continuing the trend from our kickstart tour, Teresa pointed out intricate, historical details that one would normally miss, much less understand without the context she provided. Words can’t even describe how Teresa made our visit more meaningful and memorable - she’s amazing!Sevilla!

Lola took us on a fascinating tour of her 'neck of the woods' La Macarena'. We wouldn't have visited if it hadn't been for 'With Locals'. She took us into a residential area inside the old city walls that took in Feria Market (great tapas bar that we went back to), the Alameda de Hercules promenade and the last remaining section of the old Arab wall! My 73 year old mom and I enjoyed a 2 hour walking tour on a gorgeous morning . We did learn a lot and got to places we would not have wandered to on our own. My only criticism is that it was difficult to hear our guide at times because she was soft spoken.nice tour with a very knowledgeable young
