It was an absolute pleasure spending the morning with Amandio! Our kids aged 10 and 8 were engaged with facts, games and jokes. Amandio was friendly and charming. escorted the 5 of us from our hotel to the bike store. Had a fun and interesting tour, off the beaten path of Rome. Went to some of Amandio's favorite food spots, bakery, gelato and cheese shop. All were wonderful. It was one of our favorite tours of Rome(we have previously seen the big sights) seeing some of the back streets and lesser known sights. Would definitely sign up for this tour again. We had a very nice and learning food trip which was so interesting that we asked Amandio to add one hour more to this tour. Especcially our daughter (17) had the attention of Amandio so she was totally involved at this tour. Amandio took us on a custom combo tour: biking around Rome plus stops along the way for local food tastings. He was outstanding. Great with our boys (aged 12 and 14), he had them playing ancient Roman games, riding a winding route thoroughout Rome, and kept their interest the entire time. We had a great time with this unique bike tour, we were able to explore a good portion of Rome that we had not seen before. Amandio customizes the tour to your liking and we also had a break for gelato and suppli which he treated us to. He added his perspective to the tour and incorporated many fun facts that we enjoyed. I was hesitant with biking initially in the crowded areas but he does his best to take you on the least crowded parts so biking ended up being very much fun. We will def book another biking tour with him on our next trip to Rome. Very unique and fun experience

The only very small complaint I have, is that the seats on the bike were not comfortable at all, I had pain for a few days and this has never happened to me. Get to know Rome on great bike tour!

Amandio is a great guide and expert in cycling around a Rome full of tourist in the streets. He made our experience unforgettable. He was very knowledgeable and always looked for my son and us to understand and feel how Roman’s feel about their city and history. We had a problem with our transport due to a march in town so we arrived 30 minutes late and Amandio extended our tour the 30 more minutes even though he had another tour pretty close. We are a family of 5 visiting Italy for the first time with our kids (17, 15 and 12). We met up with Amandio in the Campo de Fiori and immediately found him to be engaging and very knowledgeable. He provided his knowledge in a way that our kids could understand and appreciate and kept them engaged throughout the tour. We navigated through countless side streets and alleys to get to numerous important sites, stopping along the way to learn about the real Rome. Amandio kept to a very reasonable pace and safely navigated us across some very busy roads. His knowledge of Rome is impressive and he managed to teach us about the city in a down to earth way that kept it fun for both the adults and kids. Nous avons fait la visite de Rome en 3h à vélo avec Amandio. C'était vraiment très très sympa. Nous étions avec 2 ados de 17 et 14 ans et avec une plus petite de 10 ans. Tout le monde a été vraiment enchanté. Amandio a réussi à intéresser toute la famille et nous a donné de chouettes adresses de resto. Amandio was great! Good contact before, if we wanted E-bikes or normal bikes. We chose normal bikes, they where great. He shows you lovely places, like the gorgeous Parco Savello with the amazing view of Rome. If there is anything else you want to see, no problem. He will show you and tell you all about it. Enough time for stops and have a drink at a surprising place you wouldn’t know it was there. He made our holiday complete. Lovely biketour.

What a way to see the city! Who would have thought cycling would open an entirely new world of Rome? Amandio was an exceptional guide. He is incredibly informative, honest and knows his city very well. He took us to the corners of Rome that most people wouldn't believe, in record time! Ich und meine 12-jährige Tochter haben Ende September 21 an einer 3-stündigen Rom-Tour mit dem Fahrrad, geführt durch Amandio, teilgenommen und können diese nur bestens empfehlen. Das Fahrrad ist das ideale Verkehrsmittel für diesen Zweck, vor allem in Begleitung mit einem ortskundigen. Die drei Stunden sind im Flug vergangen und wir haben viele Eindrücke, Geschichten und Einsichten erhalten. Amandio geht sehr auf alle Wünsche ein. Auch meiner Tochter hat es sehr gefallen. We loved our bike afternoon with Amandio. He led us on a fun filled extremely informative personalized journey through central Rome. His personality, world view and passion for the city, its history, politics and art excited and inspired us. He took us to places we would not have discovered and deepened our understanding of what we were seeing proving again and again that everything was invented in Rome. Amandio ist ein sympathischer Guide, dem man seine Romliebe in beinahe jedem Satz anmerkt. Er hatte nette Geschichten zu den einzelnen Spots zu erzählen und ging auf unsere individuellen Tour-Wünsche ein. Definitiv ein sehr guter und empfehlenswerter Start (wir haben die Tour am ersten Tag gemacht), um einen ersten Überblick über Rom und einige Hotspots zu erhalten!! Wir haben uns ein Velo gemietet und sind losgefahren. Amandio hat die ganze Tour nach unseren Wünschen gerichtet Wir sind in den 3 Stunden an so vielen Orten vorbei gekommen, wofür man mit ÖV mindestens einen Tag gebraucht hätte. Am Schluss gab es noch ein extrem gutes Pizzastück. Ich würde die Tour gerne mal wieder machen. Noch nie so viel erlebt in 3 Stunden

Meine Eltern, mein Bruder (13) und ich (10) hatten eine tolle eBike Tour mit Amandio. Wir haben viel über das Leben und die Leute heute und früher in Rom gelernt. Waren mit den eBikes schnell unterwegs und konnten somit auch viel von der Stadt sehen. Zwischendurch gab es tolles Eis, leckeren Käse und Tee mit Minze aus Amandios Garten. Es war eine super Tour zum Abschluss unseres Rom Urlaubs.... und Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael und Donatello werde ich so schnell nicht vergessen.. :-) Wir können Amandio nur empfehlen.Familien eBike Tour

This was my second visit to this city, and I thought, I knew all I ever needed to know about Rome. My teenage daughter however decided she wanted to do a cycle tour of Rome for her birthday. We had the time of our lives with Amandio, not only did we learn about the history of the city, we seen so much more of Rome then you could normally cover by foot in the same time. He customised our tour as we went to our conversation. We ate real snacks and food, that we would not have been able to find by ourselves. He took us to hidden backstreet gems in history. He also gave us the real locals tour, by showing my teenager where and how kids her age in Rome go to school. He told us tales of Rome past and present and entertained us for the day. It was a tour that was well worth the cost and more! Annette (Mum) Amandio was amazing, we found a foot of a missing statue in an alleyway. It must have been a big statue. We learnt that when you buy property in Rome you buy a piece of archeological history, because things like the arches of the old buildings are still there in some of the new buildings walls. We seen a giant comic strip on a column. He worked hard to make sure I knew the names of the 4 ninja turtles, and what they did in Rome. We also learned about the symbols in Rome in statues and plaques, so we know what they mean. I think other teenagers should go on his tour if they want a funny experience learning about Rome! Armandio has really good energy and passion for Rome. I asked him what he suggested we see on the bike ride and he said its best to just get lost! I loved that! We were totally in the flow and stopped at off the beaten track places that I really appreciated since I had done the touristy things the day before. I prefer the hidden gems and I felt more like a local with Amandio. He is very knowledgable about the culture in every way. I'm Jacob and I took your tour yesterday and I'm 12 years old. I really enjoyed your tour because of the stories of all the places you took us to. my favourite place that you took us to was the hill. we we went to the Orange garden. it was a good amount of time. I enjoyed how you took us to like the food places and you got us gelato and Supra and cannoli. ... of moeten we zeggen op een Romeinse? Na zoveel jaar samen te zijn met een Romeinse dame heeft de Portugese Amandio deze liefde overgenomen en weet deze in een paar uur tijd goed op je over te brengen. Flexibel tot de dag ervoor en met aandacht voor onze wensen heeft hij de rondleiding aangepast. Op onze 1e dag Rome hadden wij deze fietstocht met Amandio gepland en de rest van de week hebben we nog plezier gehad van zijn tips: bezoek aan het museum van Leonardo da Vinci, de beste koffie, rondrijden op huurscooters (van ECooltra- per minuut te huur via een App), heerlijke restaurantjes, mooi uitzicht, leuke marktjes etc. Onze jongens van 11 en 13 betrok hij echt bij de rondleiding! Een topper!! Verliefd op Rome

This was our favorite activity in Rome. Amandio was entertaining, funny, and shared interesting facts as he toured us on bicycle away from the crowds. Consider booking with him at the beginning of your trip. He is full of great tips and recommendations. If you join Amandio for a lovely morning ride, you won’t regret it. And you don’t have to share the tour with other annoying people! He also treated us to excellent gelato, his homemade recipe tea, and other snacks. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome! We loved seeing some of the back streets as guided by Amandio!! Our 13, 15, 16-year-olds really enjoyed this tour.
