Emilie was great at communicating before our visit about meeting and tickets. She kept us on schedule and showed us a large variety of the collection in only 2 hours which I know we could not have done on our own. She also was informative about the art without being dry. We spent 3 hours at the Louvre with Emilie, she was brilliant at focussing on the core exhibits and sharing the fascinating history of the building with us. The Paris Saint-Oeun flea market can be overwhelming! In fact, my husband and I have bern there many times. Our tour with Lucien made all the difference! He’s smart and interesting as well as flexible. We booked Lucien for our visit to the Lourve, and we definitely found the right person! We were late and Lucien was able to get us in quickly which was amazing! He was very enthusiastic about everything in the Lourve, our 2.5 hours tour was way too short! Lucien gave us a very interesting and informative tour which was exactly what we were looking for! My daughter is 11 years old and she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Lucien was very easy going, he was happy to show us the sections that we were more interested in (which was not in the itinerary). The title of this review says it all. Our large family 8 had such a wonderful time! The fact that it was frigidly cold didn't even matter! 😆 My husband and I have been to Paris once before, but the rest of the family had not. He is so knowledgeable about so much history and architecture of every building in Paris, he made every step a learning and exciting experience. I continually said, "I never knew that!" He was great with the kids- 10, 15 and 17, and encouraged questions of all types! We discussed history, current culture and daily life in Paris, and received the best recommendations for the remainder of our trip. Jerome is very friendly and a very interesting person. He has great skills which add to the amazing tour he gave us. We tried food we would have tried that is local and visited a restaurant which is not touristy but has amazing atmosphere. Most of all he told us history facts that we did not know and had us laughing by the end when we sat for drinks at a beautiful spot with all his travel stories. Paolo is an amazing tour guide. He is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and patient. We are an older couple and walk slow. He immediately adjusted plans so we were comfortable walking for 2 hours. We met in a cafe where Paolo gave us a brief overview of his plans. Then we walked all over the Marais, seeing historic sights, learning about the architecture, identifying cafes and boutiques to visit later. This private tour was perfect for us. Despite some technical problems at the start dealing with wheelchair access and some other problems that are not worth mentioning, Emilie proved to be a resourceful person and very knowledgeable every step of our visit. Because my husband is handicapped and travels on a small scooter, it’s a bit more challenging when negotiating his way through museums. Emilie was very attentive and made sure that he and everyone around him were safe. Emilie also added some personal comments and anecdotes which made the guided visit even more interesting. Although we had communicated in advance that we were going to be late, and called Lucien several times while we were en route, asking him to please wait for us, he did not wait. He made a judgment that there would not be sufficient time for a good tour. We believe it was up to us to decide if a shorter tour was still worth it. We had paid in full for three hours of his time, and we expected at least the remaining hour and a half. We are very disappointed that he did not wait for us. We have requested a partial refund. We learned a lot about the evolution of the Marais and how the different groups in the Marais played into it. We recommend Paolo as a guide for this tour as well as others he does. Paolo was easy going and very informative. Our tour was about getting a small taste of Paris. We were so impressed that Paolo not only took us to the expected places to taste macaroons, chocolates, wine and charcuterie but also to some other less known delights of Paris such as species, olive oils, jams and my favourite meringues topped with chocolate. On top of this we received commentary of the architecture and history of Paris. Paolo was also great in helping plan our others activities to ensure we got the best out of our day. The tour was a Father’s Day gift for my husband and he had a very memorable day, thank you so much Paolo.

Lucien was awesome to work with. Even before we arrived in Paris he was very responsive, gave us lots of recommendations for purchasing tickets ahead of time and great dinner spots. Once we met up with Lucien he was full of Paris history. We loved getting to hear stories and learn as much as we did and we never felt overwhelmed it was the perfect amount of detail. We also visited a basque restaurant for lunch with Lucien and the spot did not disappoint. As our day winded down he even taught us how to use the metro. If we come back we will 100% be booking with him again.10/10 would highly recommend

Nice tour by a member of the French Blood Bowl champion team. Jay told us some interesting info about the differences between French and American societies. We walked through the daily market in Arr. 12 where we tasted a variety of cheese and meats. We walked to a wine shop where we had our choice of wine and then two different desserts. At the end of the tour we walked to the Place de la Bastille.Charcuterie, wine, dessert and history.

EN: Our day with Emilie was absolutly fantastic! Upon our arrival, she gave us earsets in order to hear her better because of the crowds , which was thoughtful. We had a great tour! We enjoyed weaving through the city and learning about the history behind buildings and statues we otherwise would have just walked by. Lucien was also funny and engaging, we liked his little personal stories as much as we liked Napoleon’s! So many hidden gems in plain sight!
