Absolutely worth doing the Trip with Paolo. Lots of interesting details. We were a family of four, the children being 17 and 20. Both not at all interested in being guided around, in arts and especially not that evening. In the end, they asked a lot of questions and told us, that Paolo was great and despite they didn't want to go out again, it was worth it participating. My husband and I loved the tour and the way, Paolo presented all the information. He was humerous, had lots of patience with the kids and didn't loose the good mood so in the end, all of us had a really good time. Thanks so much, Paolo!Adorable

Our family of five (with kids ages 9, 12 and 15) had a wonderful time getting an insider’s view of Paris with Paolo. Not only is he very knowledgeable about the history of the city (architectural styles, the monarchy, the Revolution, Napoleon and beyond), he also is great fun to spend the day with. He entertained all of us, made sure to engage the kids and shared interesting stories that we never would have learned on our own. He also gave us great tips for the rest of our stay, including texting us several outstanding restaurant recommendations after the tour had concluded. Paolo has a very warm and welcoming personality, and he is just a fascinating person in general, having lived in many cities around the world. By the end, it felt like we had a friend in Paris. Our Musee d'Orsay Tour with Marc was a highlight of our time in Paris. He was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. His tour included an overview of the museum itself, and it's transformation from a railroad station. Then it was off to the galleries with a focus on a number of French artists and the history and development of several artistic movements they were part of. Marc responded promptly to all inquiries leading up to the tour. We had a great time. Highly recommend!Orsay

We spent the day with Emilie touring both the Louvre & D’Orsay with lunch in the park in between. Emilie provided us with head sets so we could clearly hear her stories, background and history of everything we viewed today. Emilie was sensitive to our limitations and accommodated accordingly. Emilie was knowledgeable, informative and answered all of our questions. Her depth of knowledge both historically and academically added an unforeseen and greatly appreciated element to our experience in both museums. We had an awkward start through no fault of Emilie’s. The Lourve opened an hour late and there was at least a couple thousand people in line. Emilie kept us comfortable and entertained. She also helped keep our spot as second in line while countless other groups tried push their way to the front or “make friends” at the head of the line. Once inside Emilie gave us a wonderful tour and even spent extra time with us to make up for the late start. Highly recommend her!Emilie is the best!

Thank you so much Emilie for our fantastic tour of the Louve! We can't rave enough about Emilie and are so thankful we booked the Louve with her. We didn't give her a "must see" list of art to see, we are experienced museum goers so we left it to Emilie to show us her version of the Louve. We spent a fair bit of time learning to history of the museum itself rather than running from one masterpiece to the next and are we the better for it! There is a vast part of the original medieval fortress that predates the museum that many people miss. We learned all about it and so enjoyed this part of the tour! After teaching us the history of the Louve, we did see several "must see's" as well. I also wanted to visit the Couture Exhibit and Emilie made sure we knew exactly how to get to the beginning of that show. We could not be happier with her and highly recommend Emilie as a guide! Emilie was great at communicating before our visit about meeting and tickets. She kept us on schedule and showed us a large variety of the collection in only 2 hours which I know we could not have done on our own. She also was informative about the art without being dry. The Paris Saint-Oeun flea market can be overwhelming! In fact, my husband and I have bern there many times. Our tour with Lucien made all the difference! We booked Lucien for our visit to the Lourve, and we definitely found the right person! We were late and Lucien was able to get us in quickly which was amazing! He was very enthusiastic about everything in the Lourve, our 2.5 hours tour was way too short! Lucien gave us a very interesting and informative tour which was exactly what we were looking for! My daughter is 11 years old and she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Lucien was very easy going, he was happy to show us the sections that we were more interested in (which was not in the itinerary). The title of this review says it all. Our large family 8 had such a wonderful time! The fact that it was frigidly cold didn't even matter! 😆 My husband and I have been to Paris once before, but the rest of the family had not. He is so knowledgeable about so much history and architecture of every building in Paris, he made every step a learning and exciting experience. I continually said, "I never knew that!" He was great with the kids- 10, 15 and 17, and encouraged questions of all types! Jerome is very friendly and a very interesting person. He has great skills which add to the amazing tour he gave us. We tried food we would have tried that is local and visited a restaurant which is not touristy but has amazing atmosphere. Most of all he told us history facts that we did not know and had us laughing by the end when we sat for drinks at a beautiful spot with all his travel stories. Paolo is an amazing tour guide. He is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and patient. We are an older couple and walk slow. He immediately adjusted plans so we were comfortable walking for 2 hours. We met in a cafe where Paolo gave us a brief overview of his plans. Then we walked all over the Marais, seeing historic sights, learning about the architecture, identifying cafes and boutiques to visit later. This private tour was perfect for us.
