Our flight into Prague arrived mid afternoon. We booked a custom tour with Hana for our arrival in Prague. We combined what could be an airport to hotel shuttle with the 'layover' tour. Hana met us at the airport and for the next few hours gave us a wonderful tour of many areas of the city. At several locations we got out of the car and walked around the sites. Hana's knowledge of the city and it's history is incredible. We also have her booked for a day trip to Kutna Hora later this week. We had a fabulous experience in Prague with Hana and George. When an injury made a walking tour impossible, Hana and George provided a vehicle tour with very manageable walking stops. My wife and I took the Ultimate Prague Layover Tour with Hana during our three day stay in Prague. It was a very positive experience and we would not hesitate to have Hana show us around again if we returned to Prague. Hana did an excellent job in guiding us through the highlights of Prague's history and landnarks. I enjoyed most the stories surrounding Old Town Square including the Jan Hus memorial. Hana is obviously very knowledgeable! She also showed us unusual landmarks such as the only wood house and smallest house in the Castle area, and she also brought us the highest point in Prague! This was my first time booking a tour guide through Withlocals and I am happy to say that my expectations were far exceeded. Hana went out of her way to come meet us at the airport (and even brought us chocolate!) and gave us a spectacular day of seeing the best of Prague through her eyes. She made sure that we saw everything that we wanted to see and then some. She was very good to tell us which lines to skip and which tickets were worth our time. She took us for a fantastic lunch of local foods, which was really great as we would never have known where to start. She even gave us a list of additional things to see and restaurants to try (and which were tourist traps) as we were staying a few additional days in Prague. I arranged a Layover tour with Hana for my parents (aged 88 and 90). It takes a special kind of person to look after the needs of the elderly especially with mobility issues. This is a really very beautiful town! Thanks to Hana who helped to check the weather forecast and proposed that we bring forward our day trip from Monday to Sunday, we have so many beautiful photos taken in the great sunshine. Hana was not able to make it for the trip but she made sure we were well taken care of by her husband George. George is a super cool driver... We managed to get to Cesky Krumlov in 2 hours! George was also very attentive to my 74-year-old mum and warned us in advance of any steep climbs so that my mum can rest in one spot and wait for us to return. Overall it was a really awesome trip. Hana is a total gem! I engaged Hana for a private tour coz my 74-year-old mum cannot walk that fast and has issues climbing steps. I was worried that the pace of the big tours will be very challenging for her. Withlocals provide private tours at super reasonable rates.
