We had a wonderful tour with Emilie! She was so friendly and knowledgeable and kept our jet-lagged group of 4 engaged throughout our two hours. We knew we would be tired after an overnight flight and wanted to see the highlights of the museum (Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Venus de Milo, etc.), and she showed us all of those and more. I especially appreciated seeing some of the original stone of the palace from the lower level and learning the original history of the location and museum. Emilie was so kind and informative. We had the best time with Fe as our guide. She took us through the highlights of the museum unwinding the history of the development of impressionism, which made the art interesting to even my 12 year old who was not particularly excited about 2 hours in an art museum! Fe was enthusiastic and excited about art history and her knowledge and ability to explain about each work in a fun and exciting way was way beyond our expectations! This was the BEST way to tour a large art museum, especially with kids! Both kids, 10 and 12, thought it was fantastic and that she was amazing. If we were in Paris longer, I definitely would have booked Fe for a tour of the Louvre as well. Fe was fantastic!!

Our family of four loved our Louvre tour with Emilie! I told her our daughters' ages in advance and she prepared a special tour for them, and made sure to point out things of interest for their age level. She saved us a TON of time from skipping the entry line, to being able to use the group visit rest room, to making sure we saw all the important works within our two hours there (the kids can only really muster so much time in a museum before they start losing it :)). Her knowledge of the art and the history was fantastic, and she answered all our questions patiently. She really explained the history behind each painting and made it interesting for all of us. Fe was amazing. We loved it. The tour was great and she was incredibly knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to book with her again. The only thing I would mention-which is a Tours with Locals issue, unrelated to Fe- is that the tour times listed aren’t necessarily available if tickets are already sold out through the main Louvre site. For example we booked a 9a-11a tour planning on hustling to the Mona Lisa with a smaller viewing crowd but even though she had us pre-book tickets, they were sold out at that time and the earliest available were 10 which allows for a 9:30 entry. Seems like not a big deal but changed our timing of plans for the day and made the Mona Lisa viewing meh. Fe was excellent, made the most of it, and gave us extra tour time so it’s definitely not a Fe issue. She was truly was an exceptional guide. Just double check the Louvre site when you are deciding on time and buy tickets early!! Great tour!

Fe guided my husband and me on a two hour tour of Musee d’Orsay. She was personable, extremely knowledgeable, and a master at maneuvering through the crowds. We learned a lot and saw all of the high points that could be seen in that time frame. She took pics of us at key spots and she was so sweet. We had an awkward start through no fault of Emilie’s. The Lourve opened an hour late and there was at least a couple thousand people in line. Emilie kept us comfortable and entertained. She also helped keep our spot as second in line while countless other groups tried push their way to the front or “make friends” at the head of the line.
