Will was most accommodating of our needs and requirements. He tweaked the itinerary more than twice months ahead of the trip and many more times on the trip due to rain. Jessica gave us a great half day trip taking in Yehliu Geopark and Jinshan. She was very knowledgeable and was very engaging with our boys (13 & 11), which ensured they stayed interested throughout. Jessica contacted us ahead of time to arrange our pick up from the hotel rather than us having to find our way to the pick up point at Taipei Main Station. She also dropped us off at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall at the end of our trip so we could make the most of our afternoon back in Taipei. Jessica's interest in allowing us to get the best experience was also shown when she offered to take us back to Taipei from Jinshan via the Yangminshan National Park rather than simply returning via the highway. This way we got to see a monkey and also visit a small but interesting geothermal area. All in all it was a great experience!Great Half-Day Tour From Taipei

Our family of three had a great time with Daphane at our two tours in early March 2019 - one to Jiufen/Shifen/Pingxi and the other to Yehliu Geopark. She picked us up promptly both days and the drive was comfortable. She gave us some historical information about the places we visited. We booked a trip : Yehliu Geopark & Small Town Escape Day Tour on 04 Jan 19 morning. Jessica took the initiative to confirm with us the trip 1 day before, and offered to pick us up from our hotel instead of meeting up at the pick up point, Taipei Main Station. This saves us a lot of trouble. She is familiar with the park, so able to put across a clear explanation on the history and focus on some unique views to capture. She is patient, entertaining, obliging and cheerful. She knows we like taking many pictures , so, she always offered to take for us, which we greatly appreciate. And, yes, she can take really good pictures. As for the small town escape session, it is abit too short, a temple with an old street. Probably, it maybe because is really nothing much to see in the small town. However, she managed to make it enjoyable by recommending us some unique snacks like the steamed Yam pastry & the Sweet Potato and Yam crisps. We greatly appreciate her effort to make this outing as enjoyable as possible and glad that we engaged her as our guide. We certainly will recommend her to any of our friends who visiting Taiwan and we are also going to engage her for our next Taiwan trip. Warm and Caring Guide with good knowledge

We had an enjoyable day with William. He's an easy-going host and told us some useful tidbits. Yehliu is amazing - despite the hordes - and we had a nice walk down Jinshan old street, and some delicious bamboo shoots and noodles. While I do recommend the tour I do think it's a bit expensive, which is not William's fault. Relaxed day out

Our family took the different tours for two days during Taiwan staying. Jessica always explains properly and detailed. She is very kind and lovely who has so much Taiwan local story and knowledge. Her car is very spacious and comfortable. She is a really good driver as well. After two days be with her, we feel she just like our Taiwan friend who already knew us long time. Most amazing thing is she knows so many short cut save us so much time and walking. Our two kids, 7 and 3 years old girls, love her so much during these two days tours, because Jessica always play with them and look after them. She prepared so much extra things for our kids from her own cost which we felt so surprising. Those two days experiences like shining parts of our 9 days staying. I am sure we wont forget it. I wi definitely love to refer Jessica LIN to any of our friends who is going to travel to Taiwan in the future. Amazing experience

Serena stepped in at the last minute to replace our original guide. She was kind enough to drive us in her car (that had a car seat for my 3-year old). She explained the Yehliu area well in English for my non-Chinese speaking parents and made sure that my parents could find us as we had wandered off. The plus was that she knew how to get good photos without us having to queue with the throngs of tourists. Lovely day at Yehliu

We had a great time with Nicolas on our visit to Yehliu Geopark. Nicolas was chatty, friendly and a good driver. He showed us the less crowded bits of the Geopark and even showed us great places to fly our drone. Best of all, we had an amazing seafood lunch (fried oysters, octopus sausage, noodles and more) at a restaurant he suggested. Definatly go with Kurt! We are a Canadian couple who wanted to tailor our tour to what we researched and Have a blast! Kurt was beyond fanastic! Super accommodating and really knowledgeable on the area, the history and the overall couture. We learned so much from him and were able to experience so much more then we would have on our own. He was on time, picked us up from our hotel, with our bags...spent the entire day showing us the north coast and drove us to our next stay location on the east coast. He also communicated for us and ordered dishes we wouldn’t have been able to try has we not been with a local. He made the most out of the one day we had. Was fun and super friendly. Go with Kurt! We couldn't have asked for a better guide for a day out at the Geopark. Chia-chien Jessica is fun, is as prepared as a girl scout, and has a near encyclopedic knowledge on anything about Taiwan from types of fossils to colonial architecture. Quickwitted and flexible, she even changed up our itinerary on the spot since we had time to spare. Interestingly, her comfortable ride is named after Knight Rider's KITT(!) and is kitted out with WiFi and internet-enabled screens. A great day out.

An Kang is well versed with the nooks and corners of Jiufen and he brought us around in a way that skips the usual crowds. Love the shops and especially the food he brought us to sample. The tea house & taro balls were fantastic ! He also gave us good recommendations on the local food in Taipei.. Had a wonderful sky lantern experience (our first) in Pingxi! Pace was great, not too hurried, truly a differentiated customised trip which we wanted. Will be recommending him to my friends!! Nice & heart warming experience

I had contacted Will regarding the Yehliu Geopark tour, and received a response almost immediately. I asked him whether he would be able to add the Juming Museum to his usual tour, and he was able to easily accommodate me. I had booked the tour for myself, my husband and my brother. Will picked us up at our hotel at 10:00am. The only unfortunate part of the tour was that I had booked it on a national holiday (I was not aware of the holiday when I booked it). So, we were stuck in traffic on the way to Yehliu Geopark. It took us a little longer to get there, but it wasn't a big deal. Will was a great conversationalist and we all had a nice chat on the way out. Because of the holiday, it was rather busy at Yehliu Geopark. Before going into the park, Will walked us through a nearby market, so we could see some of the local items for sale. He also arranged for us to watch a short video about the park at the visitor centre. The video was very informative - identifying the different types of rock formations, as well as identifying that you shouldn't climb any formations or go outside of the designated areas. Once in the park, he guided us to the popular formations and was helpful in taking photos of us when requested. In the park there were employees stationed to ensure that people didn't try to climb the rocks or go outside of the designated areas. If someone tried to do that, the employee would blow a whistle to stop them. As there were a lot of people there, we heard a lot of whistle blowing! Once we were done in the park, Will suggested that we head across the street to a 7-11 to grab some cold drinks as it was a hot day. He asked us if we were wanting to stop for some lunch or anything - but we weren't hungry right then, so we continued on to the Juming Museum. This is an art museum with mostly outdoor sculptures. There are a lot of really unique art pieces here. Will waited outside while we went into the museum. We spent about an hour there. As it was now mid-afternoon, we were starting to get a little hungry. So, on the way back to Taipei, Will stopped at a 7-11 for us to grab some drinks and snacks to eat on the way back. Will even offered to take us to Dansui, so we could wander around the fishing village, but we were tired and just had him take us back to our hotel instead. I really enjoyed the tour with Will. The car ride was very comfortable, and it is always nice to take a private tour so that you can spend as much (or little) time at any given place. The tour is at your pace, and not some set schedule. And compared to some other group tours that I looked at, this tour was quite reasonable. Will was a great guide, and we had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend him if you are going to Taipei! We probably had the best Tourguide you could ever imagine. Ak picked us up right in front of our Cruise with hin awesome car. I was feeling pretty sick, and je took care of me the whole Time, bought me medicine and so on. He took us to the nicest places and we enjoyed every second of our trip! Kurt picked us up from our Airbnb in Da'an District for the Yehliu trip. He knows his stuff and shared interesting facts and opinions about Taiwan with us. He was very amenable to changing and extending the day with us (the hosts get paid by the hour, so I made sure to cover the costs and more of the extra hour we had with him). The Yehliu trip is potentially two parts: the first part where you actually view the hoodoos is crowded with tourists, although very interesting. The second (optional and exhausting) is amazing. Kurt led us up to the end of the peninsula away from the crowds and into amazing greenery and stunning seaviews. It was already very hot in late March, so ensure if you do this trip that you bring plenty of water. We ran out of water early. There is then a stunning and difficult descent almost vertically down the side of a "cliff" on small steps through lush and prickly vegetation to arrive at a coastal path leading back to the crowds and the first part. We were the only people on this hidden walk except for 2 local fishermen. The final part is uphill, although by no means as tricky as the first downhill. However, without water and in the heat it was very tough for an older person like me, although my son bounded up. I wouldn't have missed it for the world though and some of my best memories of the entire week are from that walk. Kurt made sure I was able to rest and then led us to the small cafe area in the park, where we were able to buy water and amazing mango water ice. Kurt then asked where we would like to go for lunch. We chose the main street of a nearby town (more like a night market without the night) and we picked a very small and traditional Chinese restaurant (menu only in Chinese) for a delicious lunch. All in all one of our favorite days in Taiwan. What I especially loved about Kurt: his singular ambition to travel the world, travel simply and meet as many local people as possible everywhere he went. Fun, educational, exhausting, amazing day

We did a one day tour for 7 of us (my, husband and I, kids 8&6, my parents and my brother) with Nicolas and he was amazing! He made sure everyone was having fun and was very flexible with our children. He brought us to an amazing place for lunch for fresh seafood and made a detour for our kids to Mcdonalds as they did not appreciate the seafood as all the adults did. Our kids saw a beach on the way to yehliu and he turned around to stop for them so they could play. I would highly recommend Nicolas! He is flexible, on time, entertaining and loves to share his love for taipei!! He gave us many tips for the rest of our days in taipei which is greatly appreciated. The trip to Yehliu Geopark with AK was one of the highlight of my Taiwan trip. It rained the whole day, but AK’s company more than made up for the weather! I would not have been able to explore another side of Yehliu that only the locals know of if not for AK. The trip was more an outing with an old friend; right from the beginning it was so easy to talk & share interesting stories on travel & life with AK. We have more than a few things in common since we both grew up in Singapore and it was good to share stories with someone who could relate to a Singaporean’s perspective. His passion for travelling is evident from the stories as well as the numerous recommendations that he shared with me. We ended the day with AK going out of his way to drop me off at an area that he had recommended even though it was not part of the plan. We had a blast with Kangkang on our day trip to the Geopark. Most people that were visiting the park went straight to the queen's head, but Kangkang had a surprise for us in store. We went to a part of the park where literally no one was around, except for a few fishermen. I couldn't believe my eyes when we discover such beautiful rockformations, hiking trails and stunning views. Honestly, if you want to discover the nature of Taiwan in a truly unique way, take Kangkang as your guide because he'll take you to awesome places!an awesome adventure
