Ana was very knowledgeable about Pere LaChaise. She had done her research about the back stories of some of the people that were buried there. As a researcher, I know this takes time. She was passionate so three hours went by fast. We also learned about the overall history of Paris. If you want to dig deeper into Paris, this tour is a must-do. We had a very sunny day and that helps too. We would recommend this tour to our friends that want to learn more than the tourist spots in Paris. A wonderful Afternoon in Paris!

Our family of four (two adults, two teens) had a wonderful experience on our tour with Ana. She was warm, knowledgeable and thorough. We hopped off of our plane and met Ana at Père-Lachaise. It was clear that Ana loves Père-Lachaise, and I loved that she reached out beforehand to see if there were any certain monuments/graves we wanted to see. I had NO idea how large the cemetery is and it would have certainly been overwhelming without her to guide us. I cannot recommend this tour or Ana enough. She even showed us a great app for navigating the city and walked us to the metro. Five stars for sure.Wonderful Afternoon with Ana

Who would have thought that a walk through a cemetery could be so interesting? Well, the tour of Pere-Lachaise cemetery with Ana was more than just interesting, it was fascinating and fun! Ana skillfully guided my wife and I through this beautiful but huge cemetery to the burial sites of so, so many famous (and not-so-famous, but important and interesting people), including Moliere, Delacroix, Chopin, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, and many more. Without her we would would have just been wandering aimlessly through the cemetery and would probably have found only a very few of these sites. But what really made the tour a big hit was the fascinating and sometimes funny, sad and/or "behind the scenes" stories that Ana told us about these and many other persons who over the years made the Pere-Lachaise cemetery their final resting place. Ok. It may sound crazy to say but I had an amazing time in this cemetery! Ana was a great guide. I really enjoyed her leading us to the famous graves and telling us stories about the people who are buried there or about the actual grave sites. The time flew by as we made our way from the front of the cemetery to the back. I would not hesitate to book with Ana. Ana, our guide showed up the morning of our tour only to be informed that the graveyard was closed due to storm damage the previous night. Ana took 30 minutes to explain things to us and offer her input on alternative activities. She directed us to the canals, which was a lovely walk. One of my passions is history. Therefore I am not easily impressed. Our local tour guide was extraordinary! I could tell that she had done extensive research. I learned a lot . Which I love . Ana was awesome!!! First of all, we arrived late because of traffic but she patiently waited for us. She then took us to the most interesting graves inside the cemetery and told us fascinating stories about them. Ana telling us the background of the people buried there made the experience much more meaningful. 3 hours passed by and we didn’t even know it! The place is so huge and we would certainly would have been lost without her. Lastly, she showed us an app on how to use the metro. That was a game changer! We tried it right away and saved a lot of time and money! Will definitely recommend her and her tours anytime!!! Great tour, great experience

Our guide Ana was amazing. As we walked through this historic and vast Cemetery, Ana brought to life, the stories of those who rest there. Her knowledge of cemetery practices, history, and architecture made the journey so enjoyable. Our tour with Ana was wonderful! She walked us all around Père LaChaise and had stories and interesting tidbits to tell us all along the way. I really enjoyed her use of an iPad to show us artwork and photographs to enhance her commentary. I know I would not have gotten as much out of my visit without her! She is personally delightful and even gave us a great recommendation for a cozy stop at the end of the tour. I met Ana at the gates of Pere Lachaise Cemetery, after my taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong entrance. Ana graciously helped me find my way to the right entrance, and then we began our tour. Our tour with Ana, in a near constant drizzle, on a cold, dreary day, could not have been a more-perfect 3-hour tour that passed much too fast. Ana is meticulously prepared to share with you highlights of the cemetery from the unusual to the amusing to the downright fascinating history of its inhabitants, from the vibrantly yellow statue to the nearly hidden grave of Edith Piaf, "Little Sparrow". She makes excellent use of her notebook/ipad by combining pictures and significant contributions of the occupants of Père Lachaise Cemetery. The pictures and examples, where appropriate, of the history and works of the (well-known) inhabitants gave me a greater appreciation of the importance of preserving history, but also the amount of work Ana put into presenting her passion to assure her guests receive a mesmerizing tour. She was the best example of history in the making for I believe when word gets out regarding her tours it will become increasingly difficult to choose her as your guide! The tour was great!!! Ana was super nice, and had lots of good information about the cemetery. You can tell she did a lot of research of the cemetery . She was able to answer all of our questions. It’s also cool because she brings her iPad and shows us pictures of the person we’re looking at as well as their artwork or other things they accomplished in their life! Ana is the best of the best and a tour with her is a total treat. I've taken a lot of withlocals tours and I've been to Pere Lachaise on my own 3 or 4 times, but this was really special. We met Ana at 10.30 and spent the next three hours with her - it flew by. She was very knowledgable and had structured the tour perfectly. Just the right amount of walking and great stories along the way. It was a pleasure to be guided to so many points of interest by someone with so much natural charm and a real enthusiasm for her subject. Ana was a wonderful tour guide. It was easy to meet up at a Paris metro stop outside Pére Lachaise. Ana did a great job of leading us on a well organized tour of the key sites in the cemetery. She's was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the cemetery and it's deceased inhabitants. Ana periodically leveraged an iPad to augment her story relating to and individual (e.g. showing key works of art). We felt having a guided tour was well worth the expense. Pére Lachaise is very large cemetery, and a bit of a maze. Ana was regularly asked for directions ("Can you tell us where Chopin's grave is?", "Where can we find Jim Morrison?",...) by other tourists. We had a lovely tour of Pere LaChaise with Ana. She was very knowledgable and sensitive to our needs and interests. I learned a lot and loved experiencing this part of Paris with her. I would like to make sure folks who take this tour are aware that you do a lot of walking on cobblestones. Wear your sturdiest shoes. And there is no opportunity for a bathroom break during the three hour walk. Don't let that stop you. It's a great experience and a lovely young tour guide. Great experience

This walking tour was such a wonderful highlight to this special birthday trip. As someone who has studied art and this being my second visit to Paris, I really wanted to try something a little different. I really appreciated the reliable communication in the lead up to this experience and being asked when we first met, what I wanted to get out of this experience. And of course, it was super exciting to stand outside the cafes, bars or homes that the Impressionists has once been at. Ana is really lovely, patient and knowledgeable- I was so lucky that Ana was available as my guide for this walking tour. We could deviate from the topic a little to also appreciate all the current street art which was fun too. As a result of our time together, I learnt about lesser-known artists and received such great suggestions for what to do next in the afternoon. I’m really unsure as to what to suggest to make this tour even better?? As someone who struggles with remembering facts, perhaps just some highlights captured through a QR code for me to take some of this info and review later?
