We had the private 4 hour tour of Berlin with Alex who was informative and adapted the tour as we went along taking us to sights we would have never had thought of if seeing if doing it ad hoc. Really interesting tour and Alex was flexible as we changed the start time by an hour which was enabled by his excellent communication beforehand. Highly recommended. We did the children tour allong the wall with Uygur. We had our two children, aged 9 and 12, with us and had a wonderfull two hours. Uygur was nice, helpfull and really great at engaging the kids. One of the highlights was drawing with chalk on the wall. Highly recommend!!!Fantastic tour and guide

This tour was a high point of our trip to Berlin. Our guide Uygur was very knowledgeable about the art we examined and gave us interesting background information about the the street art scene in Kreuzberg. He even gave us restaurant recommendations and some fascinating info about the Turkish community of Berlin. All in all it was a great tour and everyone in my party enjoyed it very much. Heerlijke wandel tocht gemaakt met Urgur (en zijn 12 jarige dochter). Begonnen bij Anne Frank museum om een indruk te krigen van de vele streetartists hun manier van communiceren. Duurzaam, effectief en heel inspirerend. Uygur's dochter wist de artisten op de muur tussen al die duizenden afbeeldingen feillos aan te wijzen ! Jmmy C, maar ook Mimi the Cat. Het museum is aan te bevelen, weggestopt in een steegje. Zegt dat wat? Vandaar op ons verzoek naar Kreuzberg, daar waar UYGUR als (voormalig?) bewoner veel van wist. Het " little Istanbul" , waar Engels en Turks de voortaal zijn. Veel geschiedenis en een wijk nog steeds in beweging. Wilt u een ander beeld krijgen van Berlijn, doe deze wijk aan. Een rondleiding met gevoel en empathie. Berlin, city of many faces

I’d told myself I’d return to Berlin once all the pandemic stuff settled down, and I finally made it back in October 2022. Alex really knows his way around the city. He was flexible and accommodating when my cousin and I had some last-minute changes, which we really appreciated. Even though this was my third time in Berlin, there was still plenty I hadn’t seen. We got a great view of the city from a hilltop and popped into a second-hand bookstore that had tons of charm. Alex’s humor and energy really brought the experience to life. We walked away with a deeper appreciation for the city. Highly recommend his tours—even if you’ve been to Berlin before. Leslie and Hector a great view of the city

Lee was very knowledgable and generous with his time. We took the kick start tour and off-the-beaten-track. Lee was happy to tailor things to our requests and introduced us to many ideas and sights we would otherwise have missed. It was a very short visit for us and we definitely got a lot more from the trip because of Lee’s input. We had 6 days in Berlin and on our 5th day we felt like getting some insider info. That’s where Alex proved such a genial host. He met us at the hotel lobby and walked us through his neighbourhood, sharing both stories from when the wall was still up and his personal, contemporary insights. We took a couple brief breaks to rest along the way and got to see different areas of Kreuzberg, some grungy, others stately. We appreciated learning more about the rich history of this many-sided part of Berlin. I can confidently say that by the end of our walk we learned a ton. Thanks Alex. It was my first time in Germany in November 2024, so I took the kickstarter tour with Alex who was very knowledgable and generous with his time. Alex tried his best in showing and sharing stories of Berlin. He was not our chosen guide - our original guide Minha was unable to make it (despite confirming he could) and we were transferred to Seth who then bounced us to Alex. Honestly, was disappointing and was thrown off. On hindsight, I should have cancelled when Minha couldn’t make it. It was our first visit to Berlin and our first tour upon landing on Berlin. A really friendly and engaging style using historical photos to compare what we saw on the tour with pre the wall coming down. I was met by Alex at the hotel who was waiting for me. He introduced himself gave a brief outline of how he knew Berlin so well and the exciting thing we were going to explore. Alex is an encyclopaedia of information on Berlin from its architecture to the politics around the fall of the wall. Alex was extremely well informed to the events of the war and the main areas of interest. He was sensitive to past and excited for the future of Berlin. Uygur took us to several great places to sample Turkish and Lebanese foods. Every dish was very tasty and Uygur went out of his way to make sure that we were tasting foods that we had not tried before.
