We absolutely loved our tour with Sara in Milano! The whole process was super easy from booking to chatting in the app, everything was smooth and well-organised. What I really appreciated was how flexible it was; we could tailor the tour to suit our interests, which made it feel like we were just exploring the city with a local friend. My friend and I did Treasures Tour, a mix of fashion, history, and shopping (with a Caffè Crema and Prosecco break thrown in!) and it was brilliant. Sara is incredibly knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and so generous with her time. She knows exactly where to go and in what order to make the most of your time, which is such a bonus when you’re visiting a big city like Milano. We bought, bags, belts, clothes and swimwear. My daughter loves to sew and wanted a tour of Milan’s fashion district. So many of the tours looked like shopping events, so I randomly picked this one with Sara. What a find! Sara was not only knowledgeable, prepared and enthusiastic— she was INTERESTED in what we wanted to know more about. The result was a gripping 3-plus-hour tour that put us in the heart of the fashion industry. She had the perspective of a model, a historian, a marketing pro and a personal shopper. The result was a rich understanding of the business of fashion and what makes it tick. We saw places where major shows occurred, we saw a fashion shoot, we learned about some of the big players and celebrities. She was a joy to be with! Adriana talked about the history of fashion in Milan and then took us to see various boutiques. When I booked with her she wanted to know what we wanted out of the tour. My girlfriend was interested in local designers not found anywhere else but Milan. So Adriana asked information of what she may like and asked for Instagram to better understand my girlfriend and her style. So the tour had a purpose and Adriana was prepared. Wow! Not only does she give you a tour but if you want to buy something she helps with buying clothes in your budget and she’s also a personal stylist. She understands the individual and their style and also helps them put things together that maybe they had no idea can be done. Truly amazing clothes that she help my girlfriend pick out. A truly wonderful experience. If you open up and let her understand you she will surprise you and help transform you with just a few pieces of clothing. One key thing I left out was. The day before we took the tour, we walked by some boutiques but we felt a little intimidated wether by price or not knowing what we truly wanted and so we didn’t go inside any stores. Shopping with Adriana took that stress away. Made us feel confident and comfortable to try some of the clothes on no matter the store. Our group had 3 women - ages 65, 49 and 18. The youngest wanted to learn about fashion in Milan and Sara delivered! We walked around the high end fashion area and went into a few stores that we never would have visited. Sara gave us all sorts of history of the various brands, including stories when she worked as a model. She even pointed out places to shop. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. I had asked for an experience about the history of fashion in Milan and its development rather than a shopping experience. Sara guided me through the fashion district pointing out new and interesting facts. We also did some shopping which was a lot of fun. Walking around Milan with Sara was a great way to experience the city. Sara has a background in fashion and knows so much about the history and the places in and around the Golden Triangle, and still has a wonderful sense of enjoyment and appreciation as she leads you around. Sara was an amazing tour guide. There were two of us that got to experience her many talents. She taught us about the history of fashion, design inspiration, many local and famous designers and we even got to tour a small shoe company and watch how shoes were made. Everywhere we walked in the fashion community, people knew Sara. She was well known and respected. Sara went out of her way to enrich our lives with her love of fashion and its history. We saw a fashion museum, the homes of designers, the place where fashion week is held and we also enjoyed stories and pictures of Sara when she was a model in her younger years. Absolutely adored the tour! While he was very knowledgeable about the fashion and the history surrounding Milan he also presented the information in a way that was more conversational. This tour is highly recommended for a first time visitor to Milan to understand how this city became the famous international fashion capital. It seems walking around town with a good friend well versed with the fashion industry and sharing entertaining stories. Very informative and enjoyable, far exceeded expectations. This is a wonderful tour! Sara is not only has a wealth of information about the city and fashion, but she also is friendly and fun. Sara took us to places and boutiques that we would normally not venture and this made this tour unique for us. She had a personal connection to all the places we visited and saw.
