Arun was a great guide and knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood. Our feedback would be to add a few more stops and some more food? It started at 7:30 and by 10pm (the end) we had really only had food at one of the stops. We were hungry and had to find a place for dinner at a late hour. Great idea- but maybe add more food?

We met up with Olga on our first night in Amsterdam, after a less than optimal travel day. We were instantly comfortable with Olga and proceeded to take our tour. Olga was friendly, comforting, and knowledgeable, and we would recommend her highly. It was a great beginning to our trip. We enjoyed the drinks and the bites, and the tour in general. She also gave us good recommendations for the remainder of our trip. We would do it again in a heartbeat!Great introduction to Amsterdam!

My husband and I had a great time with Claudio in the Jordaan! He is friendly and knowledgeable and We really enjoyed talking to him. We hadn’t been to the Jordaan before, so he showed us around and gave us suggestions for things to come back to, like the Monday morning market at North Church and an alternative to Winkel 43 for amazing apple pie. We sat outside of a really cute brown bar in a lovely plaza and had beer and snacks and chatted before resuming our walk. It was our first night in Amsterdam, and talking to Claudio was a perfect way to get oriented. Everyone should visit the Jordaan, and it’s even better with Claudio. We highly recommend this tour! We thoroughly enjoyed our Beer and Bites walking tour with Ente. Met us on time at the appointed meeting place and started with a brief history of Amsterdam. He pointed out unique architectural features and history of buildings as we walked through the Jordaan neighborhood. The two cafes we stopped at where filled with locals and we enjoyed the cheese selection at one and the Bitterballen at the other. Elvina provided my wife and I a wonderful tour of Amsterdam. We’ve been there twice before but only did our own self-guided tours of the city. Olga met us on time and took us all around the city pointing out places to return to for various types of food, unique places in the city such as the new underwater bike parking space, and historical places, explaining the history of Amsterdam such as the tilted buildings and the development of the canals. We had a lovely tour of Amsterdam with our tour guide Elvina. We had never taken a "Withlocals" type of tour before. The experience of being shown around Amsterdam on a private tour with someone who did not deliver a rehearsed speech was our favorite outing in Amsterdam. Elvina made us feel like we were old friends of hers visiting her in Amsterdam. She took us to interesting places with lovely stories and asked us entertaining questions to include us in the tour experience. We would highly recommend her for a fun, informative, personalized walking tour of Amsterdam. Our next trip abroad will definitely kick off with a WithLocals tour!

Our group of 4 had a wonderful tour with Arunabha. We covered many steps and Arunabhas history of Amsterdam and Australia was amazing. He even taught us things about Australia that we didn't know! My father and I had already spent several days in Amsterdam doing most of the touristy stuff (museums, canal tour, etc) and to have a local like Olga share her expertise and knowledge helped elevate our time here. We had already seen most of the things she showed us, but never knew what it was. Many of the things she showed us were truly hidden gems you might read about in a guide book but never find on your own! Truly a worthwhile experience. Olga was super kind and showed us lots of good food spots as well (including the best Stroopwaffel and other things)! Olga is a must for booking this tour. Incredible experience

Jen Willem was just fabulous. I am the wrong side of 70, and I was travelling with a 19-year-old - Jen Willem listened to our specific requests and took us on a route that included places I am sure we would not have found on our own - this was our first time in Amsterdam. He is clearly passionate about his beautiful city, and is full not only of facts and figures but interesting stories that bring places alive. We wanted someone to show us around the less-travelled NSDM area of Amsterdam. Elvina a was just great, had a good knowledge of the area and we really enjoyed our time. She was patient as we wandered through the museum and then directed us to a great restaurant and suggested a number of dishes to try.
