Artur was communicative from the start, recommending an easier meeting spot from our hotel, restaurants and specific places to visit based on our daughter’s interests. Artur was accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly even checking on us the next day when the threat of fires closed down roads to Sintra. We LOVED Inês! She accommodated our group tour with grace and ease. She was SO kind, celebrating my daughter’s 7th birthday with us by showing us a favorite local ice cream place. She even brought her a candle—so thoughtful! We greatly enjoyed her depth of knowledge about the history of Lisbon, as well as the ease with which she navigated our large party of adults and children around the city. It was also such a gift to hear her sing to our group in authentic Portuguese Fado—brought tears to my eyes and was an experience that captivated our whole group and all the passerby. We had a fascinating tour of Lisbon with Andre. It was based around the route of the Tram 28 but it was so much more than that. Lots of walking too! Good evening Ines, just back from a delightful Portugese tapas style meal near our Hotel. Thank you for the wonderful adventure we enjoyed so much through Lisbon. So many places we would never venture to visit on our own!! It was a shame about the tram, but that’s life, so be it, and isn’t the end of the world and an opportunity to improvise!! André was timely, so knowledgeable, funny, patient and ressourceful. He was very patient with our 3 kids (15,12 and 9) who spent 30min in the oldest bookstore atop in business. He had great and funny stories that our kids engaged and provided great addresses for restaurant and pastries. Despite the extreme heat, he offered us a 3h tour and took the metro with us all the way to the restaurant. He is a true historian that loves to share his passion or Portugal. We had such a wonderful day with Tiago. He was a fantastic host and tour guide. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and he was just so wonderful with her. He made our day extra special. The tour was excellent - he was so knowledgeable and took us through the valley for a port tasting and tour, boat trip on the river and we stopped for lunch for some of the best food we had while on this trip. We booked Marta on the day we arrived in Lisbon and selected a 6 pm start time when the day’s high temps began to cool down. She tailored our nearly 3 hour tour to our interests (history, neighborhoods, tile and places to eat. I know: isn’t that what everyone wants? But Marta asked questions to curate our walking tour while also ensuring we saw the highlights. Luis did a wonderful job keeping us informed and meeting us in a timely manner. Saw so many churches and beautiful sights, such as the Sao Roque, the Gloria elevator, the Se church, church of St. Dominic, history of the area, the plazas, the people and Porteguese rulers. We passed by so many areas and learned so much! Also had time for a water break, cherry liquor (ginjinha), and custard pastries! It was so worth doing, I highly recommend.wonderful day in Lisbon!

We had a fantastic day with Andre. Great e bikes in excellent condition with nice helmets. There’s an excellent bike path along the waterfront. We were glad that we had André to guide us, as there are some tricky transitions. We rode out to the tower of Belem and André pointed out all of the key sites. He has a superb knowledge of history, culture and the ins and outs of Lisbon. He also gave us. Get lunch recommendation. We felt like we learned a lot, got some nice exercise and enjoyed the beauty of the town. On top of it all, he is a really nice and friendly guy. We visited Lisbon for three days and it was our first visit. We booked Lili on the first day to get an overview of the city. We booked her for a private tour, which was perfect. She is easy to talk to and asked a few questions to get an understanding of what we were interested in, and then she adjusted her planning accordingly. She showed us many hidden gems, which we loved. We still talk about the amazing library she showed us. She showed and told us about the city's history and important landmarks, which was great! She also gave us tips on restaurants, other things to see, but also what we didn't need to spend time on since we were there for such a short time. Lisbon was our last stop on our week in Portugal and we definitely saved the best tour for last. Luis was friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. After finding I had a day free in Lisbon, I was lucky enough to book a last minute tour with Inez! She even offered to change the meeting place to make it easier for me walking there. A delightful experience. It is wonderful to experience her enthusiasm about Portugal and its history. She went Above and beyond to check the cleanliness of a public toilet before we used it- I would never even think of asking someone do that! Sunday am was perfect with less crowds. A savoury treat at my request site the pastel de nata are so addictive. Inez spontaneously shared her amazing singing at one point. Since she’s a professional- big surprise- it was so lovely! She recommended some other spots- Belem - and showed me where to catch the tram.that a must do was trying the pastais de Belem! Done, and delicious! A perfect day! Unexpected delight to tour with Inez!

Veerle heeft de voorbereiding van ons dagprogramma en de ontmoetingsplek perfect geregeld. Veerle reageerde snel en goed op onze vragen vooraf over bijvoorbeeld tips restaurants. Dat was heel fijn. Veerle was netjes gekleed en we vertrokken op tijd via de trein naar Sintra. Vanaf het begin tot het einde was ons contact met Veerle prettig en relaxed. Veerle is een open mens en oprecht belangstellend. Zij vertelde ons veel waardevols over Portugal, Lissabon, Sintra en de mensen die daar wonen. We hebben een prachtige dag met haar beleefd en we bevelen haar als gids zeker aan. Een eerlijk oordeel geven over de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vinden we lastig. Een dagtour met een privé gids was voor ons namelijk de 1ste keer. Wat ons hierbij zou helpen is een specificatie van de opbouw van de totaalprijs van 400 euro. Bijvoorbeeld de verhouding tussen de overheadkosten en het salaris van Veerle.Een prettige gids met waardevolle info

Andre guided my wife and I on an e-bike tour with a stop at a local lunch spot. Andre was very knowledgeable and his love for history and storytelling was a highlight of the trip. We also really enjoyed the local restaurant he selected and he guided us through the menu selecting several items that locals would eat. We would have been less adventurous without his help. Marta was very knowledgably about Lisbon and the history of her country. We met her on the second day of our arrival, and her introductory tour made the rest of our experience in Lisboa well-spent. She is fluent in English, and she minimized the walking tour by using short cuts which we as retirees appreciated. I strongly recommend Marta as a tour guide. Great introduction to Lisbon with Marta
