Derek is a walking history book. He can also answer any questions about Ireland. Very knowledgeable. We warmed up in a very nice coffee/chocolate boutique coffee restaurant. I only had the morning in Dublin and Derek walked with me everywhere. It was a good experience. Clear and Cold!

We had a wonderful experience with Derek! After sharing that we’d been to the city before and were really interested in seeing some truly unique locations, we gave Derek a free pass to take us anywhere he’d like. He did not disappoint. We saw some really interesting spots and learned lots of fun facts that we didn’t know…even about some of the Dublin icons we had visited already. Art, history, food, music, whatever! You name it and he seemed to know a lot of obscure but super interesting trivia! We had a really fun time seeing Derek’s side of Dublin and appreciated the time he spent with us. We definitely recommend spending some time with Derek taking in this lovely, diverse city!Dublin in an Afternoon!

Keenan was a fantastic tour guide and history buff. We learned so much about the rebellion and the general history of the Irish. I particularly liked the fact the he could speak with very differing accents from different parts of the country. This was so much better and more interesting than simply wandering around the city on our own, which is what we have done in the past.Enjoyable and Informative

Keelan was phenomenal. We spoke not just about local sights and landmarks, which he was well-versed in, but a far-reaching variety of topics about Ireland, Irish history and culture. He led us all around town effortlessly, and shared facts and tidbits about the various spots wherever we ended up. We appreciated hearing about his family history that he related to our questions about life in Ireland. Additionally, his knowledge of history from ancient to modern, was thorough and compelling. The Classic Irish Pub Tour with Derek was a nice way to end our visit to Ireland. The first pub had a trio playing traditional Irish music. The next two pubs had guitarists singing Irish folk songs. I chose a different brand of beer in each pub. We got along well with Derek and enjoyed his choice of pubs. My wife surprisingly heard and sang along to a song she learned at summer camp 60 years ago. Without Derek as a guide, I doubt we would have enjoyed our last night in Ireland like we did.Great evening of drinks and music

Derek was v well informed on styles of Irish music and assured I would hear a nice selection of several, along with a variety of local beer. We visited 3 pubs w/traditional Irish music; rebel music; and an “open mic” venue with an impressive guitar player and a Leprechaun-like musician who played banjo, ukulele, harmonica, and a slide whistle…a genius duo. Derek explained the stories behind some songs/pieces, and shared his background, education, and family status. He provided an engaging and really fun experience, and I highly recommend him if you want to enjoy a major part of Dublin life. He made the event special.Great fun, beer and Irish Music.

We were privileged to have Derek guide us for a 5 hr walking tour of Dublin, and I cannot imagine getting any better experience than what he provided. He was on time and quickly made our group of four comfortable as we strolled from our hotel into the gardens, museums, and major areas of interest in central Dublin. Derek was extremely knowledgeable regarding the historical and cultural significance of all of the places we visited. He gives you everything you might want to know in presentation form, but he has levels of information deeper than the initial presentation available for you to unlock with deeper questions as well. While we packed a ton into our tour, he was also sensitive to the comfort of our group throughout, and made sure to keep our pace, geographically and informationally, within the capacity of our group. We found him to be the perfect balance of witty host and curator of information. I would not only recommend him, but happily do another tour with him myself. Great guy - great tour!

Keelan is an excellent host. Kept my history loving husband interested with all his knowledge of Dublin and Irish history. Kept my teen interested in interesting facts and areas of Dublin. Felt that we got the true story of Ireland through someone who was born and grew up here. He even shared stories of his grandparents and parents. Keelan has a true passion for Ireland. Saw so much in 3 hours, so much better than if we had just walked around Dublin ourselves. Highly recommend.
