I couldn't recommend Chris enough. I booked this for my mom and my two sisters and I to have a little "jumpstart" to our London trip. It was exactly what we wanted it to be. He walked us through so many different sites and we ended at Buckingham Palace and gave us a ton of history and little tidbits we would have never gotten otherwise. He even taught us how to ride the tube. Would give this man a raise if I could! AMAZING

Our royal tour of London with Anthony was nothing short of amazing! He is incredibly personable and was able to take us through the royal gardens in Kensington, see the change of the guard (by pure chance) by Buckingham and learn more about all the amazing points of central London that were made by or for the royal family. We had such a great afternoon with Tom. He showed us all the hidden treasures like gardens, places and statues of the royal family and told us a lot of informations and facts you definitely won‘t find in a guide book! And we didn‘t know how much connections there are between the royal family in England and Germany, where we come from. Thomas was a wonderful guide. He tailored the tour to show us the Albert Memorial and Princess Diana Memorial Fountain after he realized I had interests in Queen Victoria and her husband, and the late Princess Diana. From right after booking to the day of the tour, John and I had top notch communication. He made sure that I was equipped with the right transportation passes and sure of the meeting spot prior to the tour for an optimal day. He adjusted the tour for my teenager and me, even while touring, making sure that we spent more time at the sites we were the most interested in and glossed over the ones we had seen before or wanted to pass. One of our personalized requests prior to the tour was to take a beverage break for traditional cream tea, and John took us to a fantastic pub, where we spent time chatting and getting to know each other. My daughter and I remarked that this was one of our favorite parts of the day! John took us through some lovely green spaces, and we ended our tour after Buckingham Palace with John making sure that we were oriented to get to our next destination. He gave us some fantastic history, as well as recommendations for eating, as my daughter wants to eat “good” fish and chips, while in London. John is engaging and personable, and he took care to make sure we were safe crossing streets, hydrated by bringing some extra bottled water, and reminded us to mind our purses and phones in the more touristy areas. We had originally booked this tour with another host but changed after our first initial chats. John was definitely the right choice for my teen and me for a fantastic afternoon Royal tour!A wonderful, personalized afternoon!

Our guide Tara seemed like a good person. However, this is not enough to be good guide. The tour was not good to say the least. Plain and simple … she was reading her iPhone(!) when telling us about London. We all can Google and read ourselves. That is totally what we’ve expected. Free drink was never offered even though it was on a description of the tour. This was a total waste of time. In addition, Tara went on and on against politics in USA. John was a great tour guide for our first visit to London! He was informative, knew how to get around the city, and answered any questions we had. He took us to Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, St. Mary's hospital, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey. Being on his walking tour really made you feel like a local, and not a tourist. He geared the tour towards us and provided facts that he knew we would be interested in.
