We had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Chafik wandering around the Souks, Medina and Madrasa Ben Youssef as a family of four. We asked to see how Moroccan people lived and worked with the Medina and had some wonderful experiences seeing bread/meat being cooked and watching craftsmen at work. We absolutely would not have had the same experiences walking on our own. Chafik made the tour fun and informative for our two children and we all had a great time. We had a great short tour (2.5 hours) with Adil in Marrakech, and it honestly felt like the perfect intro to the city. Right from the start, he was super welcoming – even treated us to a local “beer” and some doughnuts, which was such a nice, unexpected touch. Adil was really knowledgeable but kept everything light and easy to follow. He answered all our questions with a smile and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We asked if we could pop into a herbal/perfume shop along the way, and he was happy to fit it in. Even though it was a short tour, we felt like we saw and learned a lot. Hassan and his able assistant showed us a great time round Marrakech visiting the non-tourist side of the souks and old Marrakesh. He adapted the schedule to suit our needs and coped with 10 of us no problem. Essential trip, even if you’ve been to the main tourist parts of Marrakech before. We had the pleasure of spending the morning with Mohammed as our private guide in Marrakech, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly. My husband and I booked a bespoke medina tour with Redouan to seek artisanal craft and he really delivered. We were taken to see handmade leather goods, beautiful brass lighting, antique doors and ceramics, Berber jewellery and rugs, handmade ceramic tiles…….. There was no pressure to buy but we will go back on our own when we’ve had a think as to which goods we actually want. I would definitely recommend him and would book with him again. We did the tour on day 1 of our stay in Marrakesh which was perfect to find our bearings and ear mark places to go on other days. Showed us parts of Marrakech we would have completely missed on our own, taking us through the artisans quarters and having the craftsmen he knows show and explain their work and it’s history. He and my boyfriend enjoyed a great chat about Moroccan military history. Very knowledgeable about the whole country and it’s intersecting cultures and crafts. Adil was our guide for both exploring the souks and for the 10 tastings of Marrakesh. He is a great guide, full of enthusiasm and with a wealth of knowledge. During the food tasting we ate great food at many places that we would not have tried by ourselves. Little bit of advice though, make sure you are very hungry when you go, there was so much food! My family and I had a wonderful stroll through the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Never having been there I was a bit wary of what it would be like but Mohamed immediately put us to ease with his friendly conversation and interesting facts. He spoke often to our daughters and included them in games and trivia about Morocco. We passed live film sets, all sorts of markets and stalls and had a lovely coffee break so the girls could replenish their energy. Mohamed was full of tips and recommendations. We booked him in the morning which was a great thing because we had a full afternoon to back track to things we passed that needed further exploration and to visit some of the many recommendations he had. 10/10 would do again. This was our first time in Morocco, with two small children in tow. I wanted to get comfortable in the Medina with an expert before spending time there solo, and I'm so glad we chose Ouidad for it. Her communication was great from the start; I asked if she could make the tour more "child-friendly", focusing on interesting things to see and do rather than history and architecture. First time visitors to Marrakech, we only had a couple of full days to enjoy the city and wanted to make the most of it. I cant think of a better way to do it than spend a few hours in the company of Redouan. He is friendly and will go out of his way to make sure you see the best, We wanted to focus on the souks and we didnt come back empty handed. Redouan took us on a brilliant tour, made sure we were looked after and saw us safely to a taxi to take us back to our hotel. Amazingly we bumped into Redouan the next day at Medersa Ben Youssef and was happy to point out some interesting facts!! Highly recommend.

We learned so much from him and thoroughly enjoyed talking to him about our lives and his as he navigated the labyrinth of the souks. His friendly style was great for our 10 year old son. He really seemed to know how to interact with the children too. He gave us great tips on places to eat and visit. We had an interesting walk through the Medina, the convoluted passages and the souks. Redouan gave us interesting insights into the history and culture of the area. He took us to several artisan workshops and introduced us to the owners - it was nice to have some personal contact, which would have been more difficult on our own. He was helpful and patient when it came to photography (a particular interest of ours) and was generous with his time; we did not feel under any pressure to rush. Having had this introduction to the souks, we felt much more confident to go back on our own on another occasion. We had a lovely time with Redouan. He had great knowledge of Marrakech and showed us parts of the souks we would never of found ourselves. We stopped for Moroccan coffee and street food and even squeezed in some shopping. We booked two tours with Mohamed; one through the Souks and 'Marrakech by night'. The contact upfront was quick and clear. Right on time Mohamed was waiting for us at the meeting-point. The tours were amazing! Especially the one through the Souks. Mohamed speaks multiple languages, his English was perfect! The tours were a nice blend of information, sightseeing and showing us the hidden places without rushing. He followed our pace and even made excellent photo's of us whilst holding our bags 🙃👌 Meanwhile had a nice chat about a lot of things and we had a good laugh as well! Mohamed was very nice and smiley and speaks multiple languages. He started the tour off with some insights into Morocco and Marrakesh in old medina which was interesting. We also saw a lot of the souks and the metal part of Marrakesh was our favourite part, however after being taken to lots of touristy shops which were very expensive we got a bit annoyed. We were taken to a shop where they sell spices and the total was €80, we only bought a few bags of 100g. Other shops were selling spices for 1/3 or even 1/2 the price. We were offered towards the end of the tour to taste some olives, which isn’t really food as most of the group didn’t eat olives. Even though the tour ad mentioned food, olives weren’t what we were expecting after travelling all morning and day. Overall he was kind and friendly, but the shops he will take you to are very expensive and almost felt like a tourist trap. I think for what we payed he could have told us more about how things were made/history behind what we saw.Friendly but a took us to expensive shops
