Gautam is a fantastic local guide and host. The communication before was excellent and all arrangements were to suit our schedule. The tour itself was amazing. We learnt so much about the history of Mumbai and in particular the villages of Bandra. We would never have discovered some of the beautiful architecture on our own. At the end of our tour we headed back to our hotel safe in a tuk tuk and Gautam checked we were ok and asked that we message when we were safely dropped off. I would totally recommend Gautam as a guide. Just a pity we didn’t have time to sample his other tours. Hidden gems in Bandra

My bollywood loving family had a great tour with Chandramohan. He is super down to earth and responsive and gave a very in depth tour...showing us both famous and local landmarks. We learned alot of local history and explored the neighborhood thoroughly. He was very knowledgeable and up to date on Bollywood movies, stars and homes. Gautam was an excellent guide who went above and beyond to bring the ultimate Bollywood dance experience to our family of five: He and his wife brought costumes, jewels, make up, etc. They were very patient to teach us the choreography of a popular dance, though we had zero experience and lacked much coordination. In the end, Gautam’s family made us look like professionals, which was a small miracle. Don’t hesitate to reserve your time with this family. They will support you in India like a family member, and you will have the most authentically beautiful Indian experience, with video & photo souvenirs to last a lifetime. We had the best time with Gautam on the Street Food Experience! So much food, lots of sights and all guided by Guatam’s knowledge, passion and experience. We had the most amazing food tour with Gautam! From gosa to lassi and everything in between! Gautam met us close to our hotel & after our first gastronomic treat we took a local train (what an experience - we would never have done it ourselves!). We didn’t see a single westerner for the whole of our tour, which took us through the flower market, past the pigeon house, down alleys, across streets, with so much to look at and taste. We loved every minute & every mouthful!What an amazing day!

I had a great day with Gautam.I had asked for a food tour and to see a market. We went to local eateries which I would never have found by myself…the lassi was particularly good in that it was very thick and eaten with a spoon. The vegetarian Bombay burger was also very good, as well as other delicious morsels..In fact I couldn’t eat any more. Amazing south mumbai experience with our tour guide Gautham !!! This tour was so great to go on, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get a feel of Mumbai in a short span of time. My kids loved mumbai so much , that at the end of the day they didn't want to leave the city :(( Right from catching up on our delays to on the fly changes in itinerary to visit certain spots Goutham was very adaptable and was super personable. He also made sure we get the best of the food tour as well. Vada pav is our most favorite dish now :)) We felt like we toured mumbai with a family member rather then a guide .His knowledge about the culture and city was truly impressive. What stood out the most was his care , to see if kids were doing okay and if they needed something and constantly keeping them engaged. Thanks to Gautum, our trip to Mumbai was unforgettable. A lovely tour of this bustling and elegantly historic area of South Mumbai. It was unlike anywhere else we have been in India - full of Victorian gothic architecture and British Raj resonances. I had a long layover in Mumbai coming from Goa on my way home to Dublin. I thought it would be good to experience Mumbai with a local and I wasnt disappointed. I was met in the airport by Gautam and set about getting involved in Mumbai commuter traffic like a true local. Over the day I got to see so many sides of the city. From it's industry, history, culture, wealth, pastimes, cuisine and monuments. All the while traveling on every mode and level of public transport. We did the "Off the Beaten Track in Mumbai - Dharavi Tour" with Chandramohan. It was a very interesting, intense and unforgettable tour. You might wonder if it is ethically correct to visit a place where rather poor people live in challenging circumstances and if you are save there. The clear answer is YES - if you choose this tour and this guide. Chandramohan introduced us to many different aspects of the Dharavi slum and showed us how lively as well as busy this area is. We were impressed by what we saw and gratefull to him for directing our eyes to the details and the stories behind. With him we didn't feel as spectators to see "how poor people live", but got insight into how clever as well as pragmatic they manage their lifes and business. We didn't feel unsecure or unsafe for a moment , he is a very experienced guide and took good care of us. So don't worry at all. We did the Full Coverage Mumbai City Tour with Chandramohan. It was fantastic how much we saw and how many different aspects of the city we experienced on our day with him. My tour with Gautam was so much fun! He was very flexible with the meet up point. Because I knew we were going to be late, he offered to meet me at the hotel and took the local train with me! It was nice having that experience of taking public transportation with a local. He was very friendly, very informative, and we had such wonderful conversations. He also took us to some local snack shops to have chai and some regional Indian food (this was not a food tour but love that he included this). His Bollywood dance moves are also AMAZING!! He showed us some of his dancing videos ;) very impressive. Highly recommend his tour - you are guaranteed to have fun!Amazing guide!

I arranged to meet Gautum a week ago in Mumbai. Although this was my 5th visit to India, this was my first to Mumbai. It was also my wife's first visit to India and she was understandably nervous about tummy issues, crowds etc. Having done a food tour in Delhi some years back, I was equally nervous about tummy issues. In part hygiene, but the searing heat could also be a problem (seems to melt you!) Neither of us were concerned when we met Gautum. He took us to authentic, yet hygienic places. In fact, there was so much variety, we were ready to explode, but couldn't say no to any of the delectable treats. From chai, to lassi. From curried Iranian mince to Samosas, the food kept coming. Apart from the food, we were taken to the flower markets, with not enough room to swing a cat. My wife held on to Gautum so tightly, I was worried she had found a new man! Gautum, you nailed it! Your relaxed personality, knowledge of a city you clearly love and considerate treatment of not only your clients, but also (in my opinion, more importantly) your kind treatment of waiters (yes, I did notice you tipping them) made this a highlight of our 4 days in Mumbai. Gautam its a very gentle, helpful,accomodating guide. We did the Elephanta caves tour, he was very attentive of me among the crowds. He also explained very well every important aspect of the tour. My only dissapointment was the careless way such an amazing place is treated by locals and the Government which its the actual responsible for such a beatiful World Heritage place.Brilliant
