We spent four epic hours with Max, who was able to keep the whole family entertained and captivated with Roman stories. We hit most of the hotspots (which can be catered to each family/group) and all feel we learned ao much about what the city has to give. There is what we read in guide books, and then there are those stories which can only be told by someone who has lived and breathed a city with so much passion and curiosity. The tour was both entertaining and enriching, catered for both myself and my two boys (aged 9 and 11). We walked for miles, but all felt light and manageable - even in Rome’s organised chaos!! I couldn't recommend Max more! Thank you so much for making our Roman adventure ao special. Amazing guide with captivating stories

Federico stepped in at the last minute after our booked guide fell sick. We spent 3 fantastic hours with him learning all about the Colosseum and the Forum. He was super well prepared, and tailored some aspects of the information to our cultural background and current residence. At the end of the tour, he gave us many tips for the remainder of our trip, and was even on hand to answer a couple of questions we had after the tour had finished. We had a really wonderful time with Max, from the moment we met up near Piazza Navona. Not only was he incredibly kind, personable, knowledgeable, and charismatic, he also deeply cares about the history of Rome and sharing it with us. I did the night tour of the Colosseum with Max and the day tour with Harshit and both of them were excellent. They are very well informed and answered all of our questions perfectly. The night tour of the forums and Colosseum was better as it was so much calmer than walking around Rome amongst so many herds of people. If you go to Rome then I would recommend these toursExcellent!

Max was great, explained everything in such a simple and interesting way, walked us through a brief history of the Roman Empire - from the “ab urbe condita”, Punic wars to Julius Caesar, Augustus and Nero and all the way to the end. Timing at 6:30 pm is ideal because the setting is so nice. I would definitely recommend to everyone visiting Rome, it’s a much better experience to learn something new and hear great stories about the rich history then just paying the entrance tickets to the sights.Max was great

I was pretty nervous about using this service, but I decided to go with it because I like the idea behind it. It turned out to be one of the best choices I made on my vacation. We had 4 guided tours in my time in Europe, and Federico was objectively the best tour guide we had (unanimously agreed among the 6 of us who were traveling together). Federico was engaging, energized, and really was able to bring color to the ancient world. He is very knowledgeable, and was able to give a lot of context that I had no idea about (and I spent some time studying the history before the tour!). He was also very funny, often in a very subtle way - casually weaving jokes into his descriptions of areas and events. In what could have been a moment of down time waiting to get onto the arena floor, he filled our map with recommendations (for food and sights) in the area we were staying, and in every destination we had planned in our trip throughout Italy.Fantastic Experience
