I can’t say enough wonderful things about our tour with Lucia. In the days leading up to the tour she shared suggestions on areas of Venice to visit, restaurants, and arranged for free private tour of a glass factory on Murano. She responded very quickly to all my questions, bought skip the line tickets well in advance, and confirmed our arrangements in advance so I wouldn’t worry. The tour itself exceeded our expectations. Her knowledge about the Basilica, Palace and history of Venice was impressive and so very interesting. my husband and our two teenagers were only in Venice for less than 24 hours, so we're looking for a walking tour that would give us a nice overview of the city. We had a wonderful half day tour in Venice with Roko. He is super knowledgeable and interesting, bringing history to life and injecting humor into the many sights and cultural treasures in Venice. We avoided crowds while getting to explore some off-the-beaten path destinations, as well as major monuments, like San Marco. Roko kept us fully entertained with his command of history and his obvious personal appreciation for the art and history throughout the city. He pointed out many small, but interesting details that most tourists, will no doubt, miss. I highly recommend Roko!Roko is the man in Venice!

Valentina was wonderful! I was looking for a romantic experience to share with my girlfriend and Valentina went the extra mile to help me make that happen. I told her that my goal was to finish the tour with an unforgettable proposal and she helped me make that happen by organizing a photographer and a romantic, private, gondola ride at the end - complete with serenade from the gondolier! The tour was focused on a less crowded area of town which was really appreciated and she included lots of little historical bits of information and folklore about some of the things we saw. From there, we traveled to his lovely home in Murano, where he prepared a mouthwatering multi-course meal, perfectly paired with libations for each course. We took the Brunetti tour with Valerio last week. Valerio was very accomodating in adjusting our start time and meeting location. We had just arrived the previous day and were still getting up to speed. Needless to say, the tour was absolutely fascinating. We learned some very interesting facts about Venice as well as about Donna Leon and Brunetti's Venice. A most enjoyable 2 hours. If your a fan of Brunetti and visiting Venice, definetly look at this tour. It was the highlight of our trip. Aside form the tour, Valerio was extreemly helpful in giving us some recommedations for restaurants and some things to do in Venice and Murano. Mina is knowledgeable, flexible, kind, and fun. He was a good guide for our teens who had already been a bit overloaded with history after touring Doge’s palace, St Mark’s basilica and the Bell Tower. He adjusted the tour accordingly. Mina has a vast knowledge of history and was happy to answer all questions. A tour with Mina made our visit more meaningful because he shared tons of Information that we would have missed on our own. We originally chose a different guide for this food tour. She canceled on us a day before and arranged for Mina to be our guide. For this reason the tour time changed. We only made two food stops. While we enjoyed everything and didn’t leave hungry, we expected this to be more of a food tour and less of a historical walking tour. I highly recommend Mina. But I was not thrilled with “With Locals” and the last minute change. Mina is a wonderful guide!

For those of you considering a visit to Venice, I beg you consider booking some time with Federico. We met Federico on a very hot day in Venice with two adults and three teenaged children in tow. He met us the exact location and the exact time, was prompt, enthusiastic, and engaging for the adults and for the kids. Federico’s English is perfect and he has a passion for all things related to Venice (he is a full time resident unlike so many others working in Venice). Federico shared his local knowledge with us about the history of Venice, the Piazza San Marco, the basilica and the Doge’s palace. Most importantly, Federico shared the little details about Venice that you never find on your own…ask him about the pork and cabbage story! He was willing to change up the itinerary to allow us to take in a few additional sites and explore the Campanile di San Marco. Federico also shared his favorite places to eat and spend time around Venice. I’m a bit of a history buff and Federico provided deep insights to my nerdy questions. He had outstanding local and historical knowledge which I absolutely appreciated. If we had had more time in Venice, we would’ve certainly spent more time with Federico exploring different areas of the city. Whenever you visit Venice next, please spend some time with Federico. We had a wonderful time wandering the streets of Venice with Roko! I loved sneaking through hidden passageways, and avoiding the crowds while learning about the rich history of Venice. Venice. He was delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. He accommodated our group of six, ranging in ages from 43 to 78, making sure we all stay together and still got the most out of the tour. We stopped at a lovely Cafe for a refreshment, and he gave us a detailed tour of a beautiful church off the beaten path. We had a wonderful day and are so grateful!Roko was a gem!
