My tour with Wing was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable and there wasn't a single question I had that she didn't have a full answer to - from Chinese medicine to the punk rock scene in northern China... She was very charming and took me around the neighborhood she grew up in, visiting local eateries and chatting with all the store owners. We tried many different things to eat and she explained the story behind every dish - she really knows her stuff when it comes to recipes, ingredients and preparation. Thanks for a magical evening! My friend and I had a blast during this tour :)) Tried whatever we were brave to try, super exotic flavours and some surprisingly very delicious! It was definitely interesting experience and also very educational as Wing explained about the benefits to your body of the dishes we are tasting. We also learnt a lot about traditional Chinese kitchen. Wing Wing, our fantastic tour guide, took us on an incredible walking tour of Hong Kong. We saw everything from ancient temples to modern skyscrapers, and learned so many interesting facts along the way. Wing Wing knows everything about Hong Kong. She showed us hidden gems, as well as the Instagram hit spots and recommended delicious local food, and even told us about her mother and her old sayings and beliefs. We visited an ancient temple, a fascinating souvenir shop, walked through markets, and got to experience the city's vibrant culture first-hand. I booked the tour „Taste of Hongkong“ with street-market and street food experience and my guide was Wing Wing. I had a really good time and so nice tastings. Even though I had touched the area around Tempel Street before, it gave me a complete new view, so many more details and of course great street foot experience, which I would never had experienced on my own. Strolling through the busy streets with Wing Wing was a real pleasure. She explained the best food, the best spots in the area, and I had a really good time. The task 2 1/2 hour and it felt like it was over in no time, because it was so entertaining and delightful. Apart from that, Wing Wing is a very amiable, knowledgeable and sympathic person, with whom I really liked to spend time. We truly felt at home as she showed us around her home town and places she frequently visited. We loved trying different types of dim sum and seeing a variety of shops. Because of the protest in Hong Kong, Wing Wing tried to contact us before the tour. She kept us update and make sure we are safe. We appreciate her help and kindness. I had four days in Hong Kong and wanted a local to assist me on a night food tasting tour of the Mong Kok neighborhood. Wing Wing was perfect. We met at 6:30 pm on the Sunday evening of the first huge Hong Kong demonstration against the proposed extradition law. Wing Wing came directly from the demonstration and we spent a good portion of the evening discussing local politics and the mood of Hong Kong residents. This is exactly what I want in a local guide. She ensured the evening a wonderful experience with great conversation and insights. The food we sampled was far from secondary and I felt like a local out for the evening with a friend. We ate like locals do, sampling many things, from stinky tofu to sticky buns to sweet potato soup among other things. We walked through the Ladies Market, passed scores of Philippine housekeepers out for their weekly holiday and ogled groups of pet stores, sneaker stores, clothing stores and restaurants. We talked about Hong Kong history, neighborhoods and present day life. She pointed out favorite restaurants, vibrant neon signage and architecture. We had a blast. I'll be sure to look her up when I return.Wing Wing was awesome

I had a cool food tour with Wing. She took me to try a variety of foods including local food shops that don't have many tourists. It was great trying out all the different foods and you will leave full by the end. Wing gives you a chance to try out different foods that you may not normally eat as they are more local. Wing Wing was our fantastic guide for a few hours to visit Tai O fishing village on the far western tip of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. She met us right on time at Tung Chung MTR station. There was some kind of important festival that day, so the line-up for the bus to Tai O was crazily long so Wing Wing quickly knew how to get there a different way via 2 buses. Not only was seeing Tai O fascinating (you feel like you're in a traditional village from some bygone era a million miles away from frenetic Hong Kong), Wing Wing made it a bit of food tour as well. We sampled many traditional dishes which were exotic, deelish and the kinds of things we wouldn't have been brave enough to try on our own. Wing Wing is a nice guide and were very friendly from the beginning on. She has created a very nice tour and knows a lot of residents of tai o. So it is very easy to hear some traditional stories and have contact to the People. We tried a lot of Things like grilled dired squid or the best hong kong waffels I ever had...made on a coal bbq. She always took the time to describe everything to us...especially on the dry market. This tour is especially good if you want to see some traditional sides of Hong Kong. Also she knows the times to be there before the tourists come. We were almost alone at the beginning and had a really great look over a piece of nice nature in the middle of hong kong.Nice view over tradition life in Hong Kong

We were so fortunate to have spent a customized full day with Wing Wing in January of 2019, and it was her birthday. Wing Wing was so sweet to work on her special day as that's the only day we had available. I hope we made it special for her. Our day started with visit to Tao O Village. Wing Wing really knows the locals and the village secrets there. She introduced us to an 85 year old topiary artist and we were able to peek into his rear garden as well as the hundreds of topiary. We then stopped to discuss teas and medicinal items with a wise and wizened shop keeper. Wing wing also showed us how fish paste is dried in the sun. We also nibbled on some street snacks and walked through the local market and then hopped on a short boat tour. We then had lunch at a stilt-house restaurant which was one of our favorite meals of the trip. We are one Thai chef, one American chef and myself so we really know our food. Wing Wing then took us for a stop at Big Buddha being that Tao O Village is so close to this magnificent site. There are also temples to visit at the site and were happy to have Wing Wing's expertise. Finally we all took the metro back to Hong Kong Island and Wing Wing took us to several restaurants where she ordered and we all ate! Dinner and lunch were paid on our own but both meals were very inexpensive at about $15USD PP. She even made a reservation for us to enjoy the night skyline illumination show after dinner. Before our trip, Wing Wing was so responsive to all of my questions and we communicated easily via WhatsApp and the Withlocals App. After our day together she also checked to make sure we got back to our hotel and called the next day to see if we needed any reservations made. While we were together she made reservations for us for dim sum and also at a wonderful Peking duck restaurant.
