   small break to drink an espresso and taste a local dessert

6. Archaeological park of Egnazia

   we will pass by this incredible archaeological site to see the remains of a Roman city

7. Old town of Monopoli

   we will cycle along the old defensive walls and we will discover by bike the alleys that characterize the city of Monopoli

8. 16th century watchtower

   we will discover a small fishermen's beach where we could admire a coastal tower from the 1500s

9. Polignano and free time

   here we will take an incredible photo in one of the most panoramic points of this beautiful city and you will have 40 minutes of free time to go to the beach or discover the old city

10. Ice cream tasting

    before leaving we will taste a delicious artisanal ice cream in a local shop

11. End of the tour

    we will cycle to Polignano station where we will take another train that will take us back to Bari. During the return journey I will be very happy to give you suggestions and advice for your days in Bari

My wife and another couple we met on our ship, toured with Adriano 10/21/24. Adriano met us, at an easy place for us to find, in the city. From the time he introduced himself to the group, until he said goodbye, Adriano was passionate about his city. We walked and it seemed like on every block he met someone he knew and gave them a very impassioned Ciao. He spoke very clearly and ‘never missed a beat about every part of the city. My group felt like a local for two straight hours. As we wandered through the French district to the seaside to the old city he presented a view of Bari present and past. The walk and explanations were delightful and vivid, Adriano clearly has forged strong relationships with folks all over the city, and the food was absolutely unparalleled. Adriano was an outstanding guide! We had a private bike tour of Bari and he tailored it perfectly. Preparing in advance stops involving our favourites like cheeses, cold meats, focaccia and the best octopus and gelatos we’ve ever tasted! As well as local delicacies we’d not heard of! The bikes he provided were first class and the passion he has for his home town is infectious. We saw hidden gems of Bari we would never have experienced on our own. It was magical! What a great guide! I was traveling solo for this adventure and he was instantly easy to talk to. He was very friendly and personable with the vendors and local people of the town of Bari. Adriano gave a very smooth and welcoming feeling, as if we were walking amongst friends and family, while explaining the intricacies of how the city came to be. He explained the culture and customs of the locals (I would definitely missed out on) without a true local explaining or pointing out some of the smaller details that would have gone unnoticed. From superstitions to architecture and the social inner workings of the town, I feel now that I am closer to truly understanding the beauty behind this amazing place! Thank you Adriano! My wife and I had a hidden gems of Bari tour with Adriano. Well worth it . Adriano is very knowledgeable and gave us great history and background of the region and sites . He takes it at your pace . We took the market and French quarter tour with Adriano and had a great time. Adriano could tell us a lot about Bari and local life and gave us delicious recipes with the different vegetables at the market at the same time. We tasted very yummy food at different stalls (don't eat a big breakfast!) and enjoyed the banter with the different stallholders. Afterwards we headed to the French quarter where Adriano gave us an insight in the different architecture styles and helped us on our way with tips to explore the old part of town. Greatly recommended! Setting up the tour was also easy (Adriano made sure my dietary requirements were taken into account) and Adriano was very flexible.Great and tasty experience!

What a wonderful and beautiful way to see a lovely city, by bicycle. Adriana provided beautiful and new equipment and willing adjusted the bikes for fit, Including a soft seat for me. The pace was perfect and safe. The stops at local attractions and explanations were spot on. Adriano was fantastic! Knowledgeable and informative about everything Bari, food and culture. He helped my mum find an Optometrist to fix her glasses (translating for us as well) which was very much appreciated. The tour itself was perfect. We explored all over new and old towns of Bari and enjoyed so much food and wine.
