Nachdem wir in Lissabon sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Withlocals gemacht haben, sind wir bei der City Kick Start Tour sehr enttäuscht worden. Jorge ist ein netter Guide; leider überzeugte er weder mit geschichtlichen Fakten und Insider Tipps. Diese waren eine Restaurantliste der Umgebung. Einen Überblick wie geplant, konnten wir uns nicht verschaffen. Auch war die Geschwindigkeit, trotz sehr guter Fitness unsererseits für eine Stadtführung unangebracht. Es war in Summe eine unstrukturierte, hektische, wortkarge, wenig wissensvermittelnde und faktenbasierte Tour. Sehr Schade. Die Krönung: von gebuchten 1,5h wurde nur 1h absolviert. Bevor wir etwas sagen konnten war er im Handumdrehen in den Menschenmassen verschwunden und weg. Schnelles Rennen durch Palma

We booked this tour last minute on our last night in palma and am so glad we did! It was such a treat to have Jorge to visit with us while he took us to 3 local restaurants for traditional food and drinks. Jorge was exciting to be around and just added to our last night in Palma. Jorge ist sicherlich ein cooler Typ, was Geschichte und Unterhaltung betrifft klares Minus, mussten jeden Satz erfragen teils ohne richtigen antworten, Erfahrungen mit essen und trinken waren sehr gut. Firstly Jorge was great fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We enjoyed the experience but only realised when Jorge left we’d only spent two hours on the tour and visited only two Tapas bars and a traditional ice cream shop. Was there a confusion of which tour we were on?? I’d booked the 10 Tastings (it would be pushing it to say we had 6 and that includes each tapas, ice cream and drink) . Was not a food tour. Please explain ! Difficult to review as I think there was a mistake?? Please advise. Confused

Uns hat die Tour sehr gut gefallen. Jorge ist sehr offen und kann auch noch gute Tips geben wo man vernünftig essen kann und nicht mit aufgepumpten Fertig Pizzen oder Tapas alla Reste für Touris abgefertigt wird. Entertaining story teller - absolutely! Food & wine lover - me too, I got. what I could expect! Nightlife connoisseur - felt almost like a palmesana being out at Night! Old school romantic - background latin/latin, well-bred!! Ich habe die Beschreibung erst jetzt gelesen und kann nur zustimmen. Nur das mit „Water sports lover“ lässt sich vielleicht bei einem nächsten Trip im Sommer statt im Winter überprüfen. Gestern sind wir eher zufällig auf die App gestossen und waren sofort begeistert von den Touren mit einem local Guide. Spontan haben wir dann Jorge angeschrieben ob es auch kurzfristig möglich wäre die Tapas Tour mit ihm zu machen. Innerhalb von Minutem kam die zusage von Ihm und nur 3 Stunden später gings los... Treff auf dem Placa Major was unkompliziert, dann gings los. Kreus und qier durch die City von einer Vermuteria zu 3 völlig verschiedenen Tapasbars. Weine und Speisen hat er super ausgewählt. Zu Jorge, er ist angenehm, höflich, wenn auch ein wenig zurückhaltend und kommte gut Deutsch. Es ist für ihn mehr eine Lebensart als ein Job die Leute für seine Stadt und seine Leidenschaft zu begeistern. Vielen Dank JorgeEinzigartiges Erlebniss

Der Abend mit Jorge war rundum gelungen! Bereits die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war unkompliziert. Jorge ist sehr aufgeschlossen und professionell - es war einfach mit ihm ins Gespräch zu kommen und man fühlte sich nach kurzer Zeit bereits, als würde man mit einem alten Bekannten sprechen. Die Gestaltung des Abends war sehr durchdacht, alle vier Locations wunderbar ausgewählt und die von ihm bestellten Speisen und Getränke hervorragend. Wir hatten einen großartigen, unterhaltsamen und äußert schmackhaften Abend und werden dies beim nächsten Mal auf Mallorca in jedem Fall wiederholen! Der Rundgang und die ausgewählten Lokale waren sehr sehr gut! Ebenfalls hat Jorge uns auch über die Architektur und die Geschichte der Altstadt in Palma sehr gut unterrichtet. Wir hatten zu dritt die Kickstart-Tour gebucht. Jorge hat uns auf sehr gutem Deutsch die Altstadt von Palma hervorragend gezeigt und konnte viel Wissenwertes vermitteln. Er ist sehr gut auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, so sind wir zb im Anschluss noch gemeinsam auf ein Getränk in eine Bar gegangen und er hat uns gute Restauranttipps für den Abend gegeben. My friends and I planned a trip to Majorca and booked a food tour with Jorge. It was my first trip to Spain, so I arrived early to explore on my own. While in Barcelona the coronavirus prevented my friends from joining me. Initially I was more concerned about going to a crowded airport and traveling to NYC than staying in Mallorca. I contacted Jorge and he helped me find a place to stay. I ended up not going to Majorca and flew home. Juhuu wir hatten viel Glück. Jorge ist ein 5-sprachiger Sonnenschein m.viel Insiderwissen. 3 Stunden vergingen lachend u,wie im Flug. Er machte uns mit den verwinkelsten Ecken v. Palma bekannt, verriet uns köstlich kleine Tapasstationen u.zeigte wunderschöne Innenhöfe, an denen ich nichtwissend früher achtlos alleine vorbeilief. Die köstlichsten Gaumenfreuden waren vom Wirt sebstgemachter Ziegenkäse m.Mangocuttney u.Weiswein und dem Toast: "Salud, dinero y amore!" Auch den Wermut aus Zapfsäule muß man erlebt haben! Wir sind auch heute noch ganz erfüllt von diesem Gesamtpaket der Genüsse und empfehlen dieses Abenteuer gerne mit 5 Sternen u. 10 ❤ für Jorge weiterGroßartige Tapastour mit vielen Überraschungen

We did expect the tour to be as great as it was, Jorge was very knowledgeable about every location and viewpoint that was on the tour. That dude can speak 5 languages!! Being from America, we thought that was awesome. I especially liked when he suggested that I find a Spanish lady for myself! Jorge is very fun and is sure to show you a great time. If you’re trying to decide on a host, Jorge is 100% your best choice. Plus, on the journey to the different stops, he shook up with and hugged people that just knew him, which was a flex of some sort but it was proof that he was well known. Jorge was fantastic. My husband & I are fairly seasoned travelers & wanted to see things in Palma that we wouldn’t normally see or know about on our own. He infused the tour with interesting stories about the sites & a lot of historical context. He tied aspects of the history, which was great. He also talked to us a lot about the design & architecture of the city & buildings. He also gave us recommendations for other things to see & do (& taste!) while we’re here. Jorge is the most spontaneous guide we've ever met. We booked the whine and tapas tour two hours in advance. Jorge confirmed it immediately and was at the meeting point in time. What an experience - would thoroughly recommend. We met Jorge in the centre of Palma - easy to recognise by his fantastic hat! Wasn't sure what to expect but from the first 'hola' we felt relaxed and keen we were going to have a great time. Friendly, chatty, funny and knowledgable, Jorge took us to several bars where we tasted a local tapas and a drink to go with it - he told us about the bar, the area, the food, the drinks - so interesting and fun. Just brief walk between each venue and the time passed so quickly!
