From the moment we met her, it was clear that Grazi had an incredible depth of historical knowledge about Copenhagen. Fabrine was a wonderful guide and was able to take us to a number of great places that I had not been to before. She has good relationships with all the vendors we visited and her knowledge of food and Danish history really made the tour very enjoyable. Because our tour was in the afternoon she stopped by the bakery before our tour to make sure we got all the key pastries before they were sold out. I would suggest being hungry before starting the tour, my husband and I couldn’t eat everything and luckily were able to take the things we couldn’t eat back home with us to have for later. I have only done one of these but I can guarantee Claudio is the best. We had a great food tasting experience. We got a lot of history of the food as well as Denmark. His history knowledge in general is fantastic and his ability to tie the food back to the culture is amazing. He takes a lot of pride in his tour and has a personal connection to the food. We had the best time with Monica! She taught us so much about the city, and gave us so much history as well which I was not expecting. I traveled to Copenhagen with my two teenage children and Claudio was our guide for The 10 Tastings of Copenhagen. It was a wonderful experience! Claudio modified the tour so that my teenagers could also have a great time. He even modified the start location for the tour so it was closer to our hotel. He took us around the city and told many stories about the history of both Copenhagen and Denmark, including many stories about the food history. We loved all the food and drink that he chose for the tour. He even shared his own personal recipe for the Frikadelle that we all enjoyed. We have used guides on all seven continents and Claudio is among the best! He has a very “hygge” (comfortable and joyful) manner that is engaging. Altho the tour was about the food, Claudio mapped out an itinerary that progresses in a way not only to please the palate, but also to inform his guests with anecdotes that reveal key historical events and commentary on life in Denmark. The day starts with the traditional and builds to the new which makes it special and not just a smattering of dishes with no coherent order. We had a wonderful food tasting experience with Claudio! Claudio has an obvious passion for food and Denmark which made for a very interesting experience. He selected traditional Danish foods and drinks and interspersed the tastings with historical facts which was a perfect combination. A couple of spots that we went to are very well known historical places and are known to sell out early but Claudio had called ahead and pre ordered so we were not disappointed! We noticed other large tour groups arrive and left empty handed! We ate foods that were delicious but that we would never have thought to eat if we were ordering on our own. We loved our walking tour with Claudio, it ranked as one of the best food tours we've ever taken. Claudio provided a good mix of a historical walking tour of the area combined with how the food played into that history. We went to so many spots that are not your usual tourist stops so we likely never would have tried them on our own. We were happy that many of the foods were very local and typical Danish foods so we could get an idea of what the local culture is about. We had a mix of savory and sweet foods. Grazi, was wonderful!! It was not just an amazing food tour….it was a tour with food! Grazi took us all over and showed us many areas of the city. There was plenty of food. If you enjoy exploring a new city with a local, look no further. Grazi went out of her way to make sure we got to experience the best that Copenhagen had to offer, and personalized the tour based on what we had already done, as we had been in the city for a few days. Just like the city, Claudio was wonderful! There were 6 of us that got to spend the afternoon eating and drinking our way around Copenhagen with Claudio. Prior to the tour, he enquired about any food preferences and allergies and was very responsive in our communications. During the tour we got to try many flavors of Copenhagen, both sweet and savory, including a terrific hot dog stop. Along the route, Claudio pointed out many CPH sites and told us interesting stories about the people and places. Claudio answered all of our questions whether about recommendations for restaurants or places to visit in the rest of our CPH time. Recommend doing the tour toward the beginning of your stay if possible as he also offers many dining suggestions. Claudio led us on a great afternoon of food and information. We learned a good deal about Danish history and culture. More importantly, we learned a lot about Danish food. The food stops we made were varied, interesting and delicious. We had a great introduction to many Danish treats and staples. This is our first trip to Copenhagen and while we took a walking tour the day before, we were led on a tour of a very different part of the City so we’re able to get our bearings. We found some places to try the foods we had heard so much about and had been at a loss to find (at least to find of any quality) on our own. From something as simple as a Danish hot dog to traditional foods reimagined. Food is a very important part of any holiday for us and it was clear that good food is very important to Claudio. The explanations of the not only the elements of the food, but its history as well, allows much more enjoyment. He also provided us with some good recommendations for further meals. We had a very enjoyable food tour with Claudio, who, like all the Danes, spoke fluent English. Two of my companions were from NZ and I am from NI. He was very knowledgable about the history of Denmark most of which was unknown to us and integrated it into the story of the food that he was showing us which really enhanced our experience and enjoyment of the food. He explained about the development of the New Nordic cuisine but also showed us some of the more traditional aspects of Danish cuisine - including 'the pastry'. He also took us to the food market, which was really interesting and I got to try the best non-alcoholic beer I have ever had, which is not unfortunately available outside Denmark! I checked later. Claudio's tour is a great introduction to the City of Copenhagen and I would highly recommend it. Many of his food recommendations I have passed on to other friends who are visiting Copenhagen shortly and hope to try them out myself on my next visit to the city.

Camilla knocked it out of the park in Copenhagen. We sampled some of the local cuisine such as Danish hot dogs, smorrebrod, and fiskefrikadeller while walking through the center of town. Camilla provided valuable insights into how locals enjoy their food and the tour of the stalls at Torvehallerne was fascinating. We returned there the next day for a pork belly sandwich. Camilla did an excellent job as a tour guide. Her knowledge and enthusiasm helped make the experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend her to others.Copenhagen's Good Eats w/ Camilla
