Marianne was a fantastic tour guide! She took us on a tour of many beautiful cathedrals pointing out the transitions from Gothic to Baroque cathedrals. She told us all the stories behind the little hidden gems in each Cathedral. At the end, she treated us to a beer at the outdoor beer garden near marrian. I encourage all to tour with Elettra. She brought the history of Munich to life. The use of costumes and graphic (pictures) really added what was a very comprehensive tour. Marjut hat uns an einem heißen Sommertag frisch und fröhlich empfangen und hat uns sehr versiert durch die Innenstadt Münchens geführt. Wir konnten aus drei Optionen wählen, wie wir München von oben aus sehen wollen, denn es gibt sowohl die Möglichkeit Treppen zu erklimmen (Alter Peter), als auch bequem mit dem Fahrstuhl zu fahren (Frauenkirche). Sie ging nicht nur hier auf unsere Wünsche ein, so dass wir sehr individuell geführt wurden. Auch vermittelte sie nicht den Eindruck, unter Zeitdruck zu stehen, sondern führte uns als wären wir schon länger befreundet. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three hours touring old town Munich with Paola.She was very knowledgeable of the city’s history and added lots of information about the architecture since my husband is an engineer.She made us feel very comfortable and answered any of our questions .The pace was perfect and we enjoyed the special pictures and surprises she brings out of her large bag!!

Marjut met us on time at the Munich Train Station. She helped us with luggage lockers and tram tickets. She guided us on a wonderful walking tour of the downtown Munich area sharing information and history. The architecture of the buildings was inspiring. She purchased us authentic Bavaria snacks which was fun and tasty. She even guided us all the way to our hotel after the tour in East Munich which we appreciated greatly. Paul has been doing tours of Munich for over 30 years, he is experienced and knows the city very well. He showed us so many interesting highlights and told a lot of stories on this very cold January day.
He met us at our hotel and gave us a Lebkuchenherz as a nice welcome and I got one of his books as he also is an author.
Munich is an amazing city with a rich history and I was amazed how much of the war-destroyed Munich was reconstructed to its former glory.
I have been to Munich a few times before but never had the time to do a proper sightseeing so I am glad I did it this time.

Elettra was an incredible guide!
Not only she made us feel super comfortable from the very beginning bringing us a nice treat 🍬, but she made the touristic tour very engaging mixing some fun facts with historical facts. She offers tour in English and Italian and I think another extra-value of doing the tour with her, is that she can share the point of view of an expat (or better used-to-be expat) who is now a German citizen. We definitely want to do other tours with her!We had fun and learned a lot!

This tour was great! Marjut is very kind, she even came to meet us at our hotel because we didn't know our way around and she gave us enough information about places to go and things to see that we could have made an entire second days worth of touring.
She is very flexible, she has her options of food places she goes to for you to get a taste of many aspects of Bavaria, but works with you on where to go, when to best fit your needs. For instance, my wife was hungry as we hadn't eaten in quite a few hours. So instead of starting with some of the history, we jumped right into some food! Though she has places in mind of where to go, if you ask her about a stand or what something is, she will take you to try it. Many of the food stands offered free samples too.
The most surprising thing to me was how good the Gluhwine (umlaut over the u, I just can't do it on this phone) was. My wife and I do not like wine, so hot wine didn't seem like something we would be into, but something about heating it up got rid of some of the typical bitter flavoring that wine has and made it sweeter. Perfect for a cold evening.
Only recommendation is if you book with her, the typical German expectation for gratuity is 10%. Bring a bit more 10-15 $/Euro, because she buys all the food for you while you wait at the tables.
