Araya gave us a locals point of view on this fun and informative 5 hour tour. We were able to see quite a bit of the city and got deeper on the history of the temples and areas we visited than we would have if we had booked a large group tour. Araya was very kind. When at the floating market she was sure to find us the best deals on anything we were looking for. She went out of her way to welcome us. I do wish we could have shopped a bit more at railway market as well as be in the action ( like in one of the shops) when the train passed. Overall we felt well cared for and really enjoyed our day!!

Nok came to pick us up from our hotel. She was instantly warm and friendly. She told us a lot of information that was really interesting on our journey to the railway market. She went out of her way to get us a good view of the train at the railway market. It was very very busy but we got some good photos. She asked us if we would prefer a paddle boat at the floating market. We chose a paddle boat and It was really good fun. Nok showed us where to eat lunch and helped us order it. We learnt a lot from Nok about Thai culture. She was also eager to learn from us. She taught us some words in Thai. We taught her some in English. She then went out of her way again by returning a gift I had bought and put in her bag. When she dropped us off I had forgotten about it. She text me to tell me she was going to return it. Jojo was absolutely wonderful! Very knowledgeable, so thoughtful and a brilliant person. We had such a fantastic food walking tour around Bangkok. We were game for anything and she took us on a fabulous journey, we were blown away. She’s also very cool and it was so fun hanging out and getting to know her. We had a great time with Nok on our tour. We have two kids (7 and 9) and Nok was very patient with them and worked hard to ensure they (and we) got the most out of the tour. She was very generous with her time and waited patiently even though we arrived a bit late. At one point we got a bit weary as it was hot and she responded by suggesting we had a break for a cold drink and took us to a lovely cafe. We asked about some fruit we'd not seen before and she bought us a sample to try! She is very knowledgeable about the city and it's history and kept us engaged with interesting facts and stories. Our group of four friends had a most memorable time with Araya being enlightened about Buddhism and Siam/Thailand history in general. Araya was very enjoyable and a wealth of knowledge. She conveyed the strength of Buddhism in a truly inspiring manner. This tour was much more than a street food tour. I was expecting tasting the foods available in the many larfe street markets of Bangkok. Araya took us to local family owned restaurants and local markets. We tried a large variety of food we had never had, all of them delicious. We booked Jojo for 2 days to maximise our limited time in Bangkok. She worked out an itinerary that covered everything from markets, temples, grand palace and eating. We went out of town and off the beaten track as well as joining the throng in the centre of Bangkok. We travelled in private A/C car, the metro, sky train, tuktuk as well as water ferries. Jojo is such a knowledgeable tour guide and we learnt so much about Thai history and culture. Nothing was too much trouble and she was totally flexible, making sure we were ok though out each day. Whenever she noticed us flagging she'd stop and get us a drink. She has a wonderful sense of humour and made our tours an absolute pleasure. Jojo was an excellent tour guide and I'd whole heartedly recommend her. Fantastic tours with Jojo

My day with Nok touring the Temples, markets, and canals was amazing. Nok was very pleasant and well organized. It saved a lot of time trying to find and get the sites I wanted to see. The second day, which was a tour of food and food markets, was amazing. We had an incredible tasting tour that highlighted traditional Thai food. Amazing! We had such a fun night in Bangkok with Nok! We were jet-lagged and found Bangkok at night to be overwhelming, so we are so glad we had Nok there to show us around. We went a temple, got a Thai astrology reading, went to a night market, and then headed to Chinatown to experience Lunar New Year! I had the most wonderful and rested morning exploring the temples and the flower markets. Araya is thoughtful, kind, generous and compassionate. She holds a wealth of knowledge. The paintings on the temple walls are stunning. If you love art and wish to understand more about the Buddhist temple then you will be in your element. Many of the hand painted walls look like wallpaper straight out of Florence Broadhurst and Williams Morris. The flower market is an explosion of colour. Araya was a wonderful guide. We were a bit late because of traffic and she didn’t give us a hard time over it, as others might have. She brought us to plenty of different restaurants and food stalls while giving us local history facts. She also gave the leftover food we didn’t want to homeless folks nearby. Araya is an incredibly sweet person and a great embodiment of the ‘Land of Smiles.’ 10/10 experience, would highly recommend. Wonderful!

Araya chose two fascinating food markets, including famous Or Tor Kor market (considered one of the best in the world). She toured us around, explaining, offering little tastes of fruits and snacks. Lots of insight into Thai food culture and life in Bangkok. At the end of the walk through much of the market, she said, “Now, please pick six foods that caught your fancy, and I’ll go get them for you.” Tough to choose, but we managed! Nok is an amazing guide. She took the time to figure out our taste preferences and determine how adventurous we are. Based on that she lead us on a tasteful (pun intended) tour. She has detailed knowledge of the foods and was happy to share. We had a chicken curry and she pointed out the hint of cinnamon in the meat. The downside to the tour is that you get too much food to eat and end up leaving some on the plate. We truly enjoyed our time with Nok and have recommended to friends coming next month that they setup a tour with her.Tour of tastes and memories
