Araya is a very knowledgeable guide, at the same time able to get "dry" historical information across in an entertaining and didactic way. Also, I learned a lot of individual life background and every day life in Bangkok. Visiting the Or Toe Kor food market and joint lunch after the tour with the public transport boat was a great way of finishing the 1/2 day tour. Sudarat was absolutely amazing. As soon as I booked she sent me a message asking what we wanted to do on the tour. I gave her a rough idea of what we wanted to do and she came up with a few suggestions. I asked for some “off the beaten path” stuff and she did not disappoint. At most of the places we went to we were the only tourists there. It felt very private and special but also safe. I would love to do another tour with her again some time.Amazing Tour!

This is one of the most confusing reviews I’ve had to write — and the reason is quite simple: we had a lovely tour that we truly enjoyed, led by a wonderful guide whom we deeply appreciated, but we didn’t exactly get what we had asked for. We had specifically requested a tour that would resemble a food tour. While we did buy food from three different places, we only ate at one of them during the tour — the other two we ended up eating back at our hotel after the tour had finished. That was the only part we didn’t really enjoy. Apart from that, Chef Hnoi was an excellent guide. She spoke very good English, answered all of our questions, showed us some beautiful and interesting parts of the city, and every recommendation she gave about Bangkok turned out to be spot on. We definitely recommend her as a guide for a memorable experience in Bangkok!Όμορφη εμπειρία!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our tour with Sudarat in Bangkok. She is a warm, friendly, and knowledgeable guide who made our day truly memorable. We started by visiting Wat Pho to see the breathtaking Reclining Buddha. Sudarat shared fascinating details about its history and significance, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and genuine passion for her culture. Afterward, we went to a floating market and then enjoyed an exhilarating long-tail boat ride, which gave us a unique perspective of Bangkok’s waterways. Me and my two grown daughters had a lovely and exciting day out of Bangkok with Nok. We visited the train market, the floating market and then she even gave us to and extra experience by taking us to the mangrove forest and seeing the swimming monkeys. Nok is very sweet to talk too and we experienced so much in just one day. We only had two days in Bangkok so I’m really happy I booked the trip with a private guide to get the most out of it. As a family we do not tend to book tours but as we were visiting Thailand for the first time I decided to explore a day tour with a guide. Someone recommended WithLocals so I began to explore what was on offer in Bangkok. As a family who likes to learn about culture and also food, I was drawn to Chef Hnoi. She tailor made a day tour for us to have both a cultural tourist experience as well as visiting her local market for a culinary treat. From start to finish she was all I could have hoped for in a guide. Knowledgeable, full of interesting facts, she aimed the day at the correct pace and she took great photos of us the whole day so we can look back and remember the day. The food tour around her local market was a particular highlight as we would have never found or experienced it without her. Petz was the perfect guide. He helped organize an issue I had with my hotel and spoke to my taxi driver for me by phone to explain directions. He is easy going and intuitive about communicating the information I needed to meet up in the morning before I even had to ask. I appreciated learning the history of the temples and Thailand from an informed local. Throughout the tour, Petz was thoughtful and helpful to make sure I had a great experience. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed our tour of the grand palace, some temples, a flower market and a food market with Nok. From the moment we met Jojo in the hotel lobby, we knew we were in for something special. We had hoped for an experience beyond the usual sightseeing—and Jojo delivered big time. Our wish list? Temples, hidden klongs, charming backstreets of Bangkok—and to get around like locals, on boats and tuk-tuks. Jojo clicked instantly with our boys (11 and 14). Within minutes, there were high-fives, laughs, and that rare kind of energy that makes kids feel like part of the adventure. Meanwhile, we parents could just soak it all in—Jojo’s stories, insights, she made it feel like we had a local friend showing us her Bangkok. We had a super short window in Bangkok and were honestly melting in the crazy heat, but Nok made our half-day temple tour an absolute breeze. She managed to get us through all three of the key temples, never once rushing us—even though we were slow thanks to the heat and our constant photo stops 😅 What really stood out was how thoughtful and kind she was: always checking if we had enough water, making sure we had bathroom breaks, even waiting patiently while we tried not to melt—and feeding us too!
