We had a great trip with Gede. He was super knowledgeable, brought us to the main sights and was very warm and kind. We were travelling on the Queen Elizabeth cruise and Gede collected us from the port. He brought us to the temples, waterfalls, markets and finally the beach, where we had a swim. We learnt a lot about Bali society and enjoyed his lovely company. Would strongly recommend Gede as a guide.Great tour with Gede

Cose positive: Posti visitavi molto belli, Assistenza pre partenza ottima. Cose negative: - [ ] Didi non era presente durante l’escursione ma un driver é venuto al suo posto, non una guida privata - [ ] Durante tutta la giornata abbiamo provato a contattare Didi ma non abbiamo ottenuto risposta - [ ] Alla prima fermata, il Batuan Village temple, ogni domanda che rivolgevamo al nostro accompagnatore non sapeva come rispondere, perché non originario di questa città. - [ ] Dopo aver pagato di più per avere un tour personalizzato, modificando due tappe, si è rivelato impossibile da eseguire completamente per mancanza di tempo. Quindi abbiamo dovuto rimodificarlo e tornare ad un piano simile a quello originale fermandoci in una tappa durante il percorso (monkey forest) per poter sfruttare il tempo a nostra disposizione, eliminando quelle richieste (Tengelalang waterfall e Go Gajah temple) - [ ] Nonostante abbiamo cercato di contattare Didi per poter avere l’ingresso al Monkey forest incluso, come da preventivo originale, non abbiamo mai ricevuto risposta e quindi abbiamo dovuto spendere 200.000 IDR di tasca nostra per l’ingresso al Monkey Forest - [ ] dopo aver ricevuto pressione durante la visita al rice terrace per paura di arrivare in ritardo allo spettacolo di danza conclusivo, siamo arrivati con mezz’ora di anticipo. - [ ] Per sfruttare al meglio quella mezz’ora guadagnata, nonostante abbiamo chiesto ripetutamente di fermarci per fare shopping durante il tragitto, il driver ci ha consigliato di andare in questo centro commerciale vicino al luogo dove si teneva lo spettacolo perché, a suo dire, avevano la stessa merce. Si è rivelato un luogo di scarsissima qualità da cui siamo usciti 5 minuti dopo. Nonostante lo abbiamo avvisato dell’accaduto ha continuato a bere il suo caffè e fumare la sigaretta dicendo che non c’era più tempo per andare altrove, finendo quindi per non poter più fare shopping e aspettare più di 15 minuti l’inizio dello showNot “Didi” on the picture or a local guide

We enjoyed our time with El! He was very knowledgeable about all things Bali and we learned a lot! We got to try a lot of different fruits, sweets, satay, beef rendang and delicious Babi guling. Our favorites were the pork and chicken satays and Babi guling. Definitely recommend a tour with El!Great food tour

We had a brilliant tour of Ubud with El. He is English is great and he was very good explaining everything to us. He picked us up from our hotel and drove us around. We visited the town, the Campuhan ridge, Ubud palace and a local traditional village as well as trying a few different types of local food. As it’s our first trip here it was very useful to hear from a local person all about the culture and traditions. We would definitely recommend doing a tour with El. Brilliant guide

We did a wonderful 5 hour tour with Ketut EL. We were a little unsure of how to get the mix of natural beauty and culture right and he was extremely helpful with suggestions and very flexible to adjusting plans. We ended up with the perfect balance. He gave us plenty of time to ourselves to enjoy walks or explore historical sites, but was very happy to walk with us at other times and provided many interesting insights regarding Balinese culture. The title says it all… As a person, EL is fantastic: fun, always available to help, patient and always smiling! As a guide, you cannot do better: he will customise and adapt your trip to make sure you visit what you want, he will give you recommendations if you lack of inspiration, he will always be happy to change plans and adjust the tour to what you want to do, he is passionate about his culture and city and knows a lot about it and he is not intrusive at all (which is for me important when you are going with your BF/GF etc). His car is big, new and clean, and that’s also important :) If you are going to Bali, make sure to contact him to plan your trip cause you will not regret it! What an experience!!

I went on my food tour with Ketut EL my first day in Bali and it made such a huge difference in my entire trip. He was a fantastic guide. Aside from the basics-picking me up on time, making sure I had water a long the way, helping me with safe crossing across the busy streets, he taught me so much about Bali and the culture that I took with me the rest of my trip. the food was beyond fantastic, but seriously DON’T EAT beforehand. Went on food tour on streets of Denpasar with my 17 year old daughter. Ketut was a great guide. He picked us up at our hotel on time in a clean car with bottled water and we headed off to our first of many stops being main food market in Denpasar. So many food stops followed and we were very full probably half way through so do not eat before !! Ketut answered all our questions and was very informative You won’t be disappointed with this tour or Ketut Thanks for a great experience !! Denpasar Food Tour

We wanted to find a local host, so use withlocal, and found here Didi. But we gone with his driver, not with Didi!!! He was polite but he is only a drive. We paid to much for only a driver... it was so dissappointed. Where was Didi???

My tour with Ketut El was absolutely amazing. He speaks wonderful English and took time to explain and answer all my questions (I'm full of them). I loved how helpful he was about accommodating my food preferences (my tolerance for spicy food is mild at best... and Balinese food is crazy spicy) and was often able to get them to make my food to taste. The walking part was just as informative as the actual food tour. It was wonderful to take time and hear history from him of the various courtyards, buildings, statues, and plazas we passed. Ketut is a wealth of information! And it was very cool to go to parts of the city that you probably would never visit as a tourist. Show up for this tour VERY HUNGRY... I was begging Ketut to roll me back to the car, I was so full by the end. I typically don't eat fried foods or sweets, which there are a lot of on this tour, but I was happy to throw my diet to the wind for a day and truly experience what is authentic to Bali. This is one of my favorite things I did on my trip. Highly recommend! A Must Do Tour!

Didi and his team are perfect guides and offered us a great experience in Bali, both on the trek to the top of the volcano and the one day photo tour. They were very nice, helpful and took a good care of us. What an awesome trip, we went up the side of the mountain where there were no other people, which made for a peaceful walk up. Once we got up to the top it was quite cold but our excellent guide Raida got us hot coffee and showed us where they cook the food on the volcanic steam. Didi was amazing!!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect tour!! He was very professional with a beautiful vehicle with air conditioning and was very comfortable. His English was perfect and he was extremely willing to do anything we asked. He had 2 days of tours planned for us and the savings compared to the ship tours was impressive. We saw as much if not more than our fellow passengers with much more comfort and no hassles. I can't thank him enough!!!
