Omar took on a day long walking tour of Marrakech. He's warm and engaging and really knows his stuff. We got a real insight into the history and culture of his fascinating City. We really enjoyed our 5 tastings evening with Omar. He is an easy going, charming young man who we liked a lot! And his English is so good! We also liked that he took us tasting stuff that wasn't obvious and really enjoyed his selection and advise. For our teenage son it was also fun with a guide that was a bit closer in age than his parents. We can highly recommend Omar if you want to get to know Marrakech from a different angle than you would have on your own.Great fun with charming Omar

Omar could not make our booking and sent Rachid instead. Unfortunately Rachid’s driving was not relaxing at all as he felt the need to drive right up to the back of every car in front of us, and overtake when questionable space. The walk and lunch in the mountains with Omar the guide was excellent and so we thoroughly enjoyed being in the Atlas Mountains. I would recommend the trip but cannot comment on Omar. We had a wonderful introduction to Marrakech with Omar. He's very kind, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our questions. He was wonderful with our 10 year old and made sure she was also enjoying the experience and learning things. His tour is a really good mix of making sure we saw the things that "tourists should see" as well as taking us off the beaten path. We saw areas of the Medina that we never would have found on our own (and probably couldn't find again if we tried!) Omar was a fantastic guide around Marrakech. He gave us a tour of his city on our first evening and it was the perfect introduction to the incredible sights and sounds of a unique place. Not one who usually relishes walking, our five year old son also loved the tour, and Omar was brilliant with him, keeping him entertained throughout. Die Tour durch die Medina bei Nacht war super interessant, auch der kleine Abstecher zu einem Freund. Wir endeten kurz vor Mitternacht auf dem Hauptplatz, wo immer noch viel los war. A perfect day. Omar is a superb guide and a lovely, sweet guy. We had great communications before the day, with Omar always responding to our questions quickly and fully. He even checked what sort of activities/experiences we would most want included in our day (and he fully accepted our request for no shopping!)....and if we had any food requirements. He picked us up at the hotel spot on time, explained the day he'd planned including timings and then off we went in his very comfortable car. We stopped at some lovely villages, viewpoints etc until hooking up with his colleague (another Omar) who would guide us on our walk. Fabulous walk, just the three of us mountain paths, eventually arriving at the large, impressive waterfalls. (There were a lot of people at the falls who had walked along the main, tourist thoroughfare in large groups). We enjoyed the waterfalls but were pleased when Omar took us back to the quiet paths on to a Berber House for lunch. This was a fabulous spot, traditional house with amazing views from the terrace where we ate....and what an awesome meal!!! Then we opted to continue walking for around another half hour. Omar the walking guide was included in the tour cost but we did of course tip him..... such a lovely guy! Then the drive back to the hotel stopping occasionally at viewpoints, villages etc. A truly wonderful day made prefect by Omar.....amd Omar! We would score this 11 hearts if possible!Superb day with Omar

Brahim is the perfect guide for the Atlas Mountains day excursion. His wealth of local knowledge and friendly disposition are wonderful. Top tip if you are on the tour while children are out of school bring a long a couple deflated soccer balls for the local less fortunate kids who, in a cute manner, try to block the mountain roads for sweets or soccer balls. Omar gave us an unforgettable experience on our private trip to the Atlas Mountains. He ensured a smooth and safe journey in a private van and his friend (another Omar) guided us on a scenic hike, followed by a lovely meal with views of the snowy peaks. We also visited a Berber market, rode camels at sunset, and enjoyed a luxury desert dinner he helped arrange. Omar even went the extra mile to organise a birthday cake for my parents birthday upon request, which we truly appreciated. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made this a memorable adventure. Highly recommended!

Omar speaks great English, has a lot of knowlegede of the region and is a real foodie which led us to an amazing restaurant in the mountains which was another highlight. Out trip with Omar was the highlight of our visit to Marrakech Omar collected us and we went straight to the Ourika valley and met our guide who hiked us up to see the waterfalls . He was also excellent and explained all about the area and his way of life there . We then had lunch by the river before a visit to a traditional Berber house with Omar and then a trip to the locals weekly market Omar was very informative and great company , we had a brilliant day ☺️Outstanding

The trip to the Atlas Mountains and Berber village with Omar was one of those few days we will never forget as a family (kids are 18 and 16). Omar picked us up at our hotel and first took us to a Berber market, which is an experience in itself. Next, we were welcomed into an Imazighen home where we had mint tea and snacks and got a brief view of life in the village. From there we met another guide who took us on a one hour hike in the mountains. We are not mountain climbers and we did not find the hike to be a strain, so I think it should be fine for most folks if you are reasonably in shape. Just be sure to wear hiking shoes or at least good sneakers. It can be slippery. The views were AMAZING and the cool air in the hills was a welcome relief. I have a healthy fear of heights, but I was only truly anxious at one area of the climb. The guide was slightly more agile on the rocks than a mountain goat, so he made it much easier by showing us the best paths to take. We then had lunch at a local restaurant along the river, which was very scenic. On the way back to Marrakech we stopped at a few spots to take photos from the mountains; the drive is breathtaking (from the views and from the terror of the sheer cliffs on the side of the road). Omar speaks excellent English, is extremely courteous, and was happy to answer all of our many questions. If you can only do one tour in Morocco, do this one. 11 out of 10. Best day of our trip

Omar, was a wonderful host, knowledgeable and patient. It was my children’s first experience of an environment like this, it can be overwhelming, he took them both under his wing and showed them sights and experiences of the medina. My children (10 & 6) absolutely loved it, Omar ensure it was an interactive, educational and engaging experience! I would highly recommend Omar as a guide for anyone and age. We had a fabulous tour with Omar. From the beginning he engaged with our 9 and 11 year old meaning they asked questions and were never bored. Omar was particularly brilliant with our son who has ADHD and is really struggles to listen!! He was super kind to him which made the whole experience relaxing for us!
