We had a wonderfull time with our Tour gide, Eamon. It was our first time in Dublin so we did not know our way around. Within minutes Eamon showed us beautiful houses and hidden courtyards. The information and story telling we got from Eamon was dazzling. We love History so it was a perfect match for us. If you meet Eamon, try to make him sing for you. He has a beautifull voice. My husband and I recently did a City Highlights Tour with Eamon and had a great experience. Eamon met us promptly and delivered an excellent tour on what turned out to be a very windy and cold day in Dublin. It’s clear that Eamon knows the city very well and we found him to be very warm and engaging. It was a very nice lesson in Irish history and a wonderful way to introduce us to Dublin. Eamon also emailed us ahead of time with a list of his personal recommendations for things to do around the city which was very much appreciated. We had a great time getting to know Dublin with Eamon! It's one thing to read about history and quite another to stand by pillars with chunks knocked out while someone points to the spot in the river from where boats were blasting at them! In addition to history nerdery, we learned about the habits and traditions of Trinity students, the status of seagulls (I would never have guessed they're struggling based on their cheekiness), and where to find traditional music. I would definitely recommend a tour with Eamon.Fantastic intro to Dublin

Derek is a walking history book. He can also answer any questions about Ireland. Very knowledgeable. We warmed up in a very nice coffee/chocolate boutique coffee restaurant. I only had the morning in Dublin and Derek walked with me everywhere. It was a good experience. Clear and Cold!

Eamon is so knowledgeable and gave us exactly the tour we asked for, and then some. We were interested in the 1916 Easter Rising and he gave us a thorough understanding, took us to key locations and brought along supplementary materials. Brendan ist ein exzellenter Kenner der irischen Geschichte sowie der Stadt Dublin. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle in welchem Jahrhundert er sich mit seinen Ausführungen befindet - auch die Probleme der Jetzt-Zeit kann er umfänglich kommentieren. Er hat uns die Kälte vergessen lassen ! Für den Preis erwarte ich allerdings Besonderheiten, die eine „private tour“ von einer normalen Gruppenführung abhebt. Gerade die kleine Besucherzahl eröffnet die Möglichkeit, Plätze und Stätten zu besuchen, die es für große Gruppen nicht gibt ( z. B. Kirchtürme, victorian houses, Räume in Trinity College etc.). Auch sollte nicht im Voucher stehen, dass im Preis ein Snack inkludiert ist, der aber nicht angeboten wird. Die Bewertung des Preis-Leistung Verhältnisses fällt nicht ganz so schlecht aus, da Brendans Erzählkunst einiges kompensiert hat.Brendan - ein “Muss” in Dublin

Ruairi was a very knowledgeable guide. He took us on a 3 hour walking food tour where he explained various history points as we passed by different buildings or landmarks. Ruairi took us on a 3 hrs footwlak through along the highlights of Dublin in the city center and through side-roads you don't see on hopp-on / hopp-off tours. And Ruairi had good storys to tell and he has deep knowledge about the history behind all the buildings we were passing.
