We toured the outer walls of old town with Vlaho, he made sure that every point of our tour was filled with knowledge about the history of the city, both from ancient & modern times. Marko made the whole experience worthwhile. His suggestions and local knowledge ensured we got to see the best of Dubrovnik. It was a pleasure to have seen it through his eyes. He communicated prior to us meeting through WhatsApp and ensured he covered all of the things we wanted to do and see. He even used his own car to transport us around, which was spotlessly clean. An added touch was the thoughtful bottle of water he provided for us and he also treated us to refreshments halfway through the tour. Dubrovnik Old Town is a visually stunning city and Marko brought it to life with his vast knowledge of its history and culture. “The wine tasting and street food tour is a great experience, not just for the excellent wine and cheese to start, but also for the opportunity to sit and chat with a local, being able to ask any questions. The evening was fun, we learned quite a bit about Dubrovnik itself and its development of the tourist industry in the last few years. It wasn't just a dry lecture, it was a fun conversation where Romana was very open about different cultural aspects, giving advice on how to further plan the holiday and just general smalltalk. While the main streets are quite busy in the evening, the wine bar and the street food shop werent too crowded and still allowed for a decent conversation without having to shout to get over the noise. Overall would definitely recommend the tour to get a more personal view and experience in dubrovnik.”Local experience

I organised this tour for 2 for my partner's birthday. I chose Vesna based on previous reviews. Vesna not only gave a superb tour, but was able to answer our many questions about what we were seeing and history of recent happenings in history. I asked Vesna to direct us to a bakery but she surpassed this by taking us to an excellent restaurant for bubbles and choice and cake. The ferries were not running due to bad weather so Vesna organised a wonderful chauffeur driven car instead. Hvala Vesna! Knowledgeable and adaptable guide

We had only a day and a half in Dubrovnik and needed someone to give us an overview upon which we could make the most of our time in the city. Marko more than filled that need. Born and raised in the city, with a passion for its history, culture, and arts, we spent three hours learning our way around the city and identifying places for further exploration on our own in the time we had left. Marko's English is top notch, and he was careful to pace the time to our needs and interests, fielding questions along the way and giving clear answers as he did. The tour included: pick up and drop off from our ship, beautiful panorama shots of Dubrovnik, historical facts including tour of sights where Game of Thrones was shot including photos of scenes! “I cannot recommend Romana highly enough! She is the friendliest and loveliest tour guide we have ever had! It was such a wonderful tour being shown Dubrovnik from a local, she showed us hidden gems and gave us excellent advice from food recommendations to tourist information. She recommended excellent restaurants to eat at and took us to a local shop (which we would have never found by ourselves) where we had some local cuisine and coffee which was delicious, we even bought t-shirts from her fathers shop which was great value and a lovely reminder of our trip. Barbara is the best tour guide you can find in Dubrovnik! We took a Dubrovnik night tour, which was super informative and full of the towns history. What an amazing time we spent with Mia! She is extremely knowledgeable, charming, and fun to listen to. We heard and learned so much.
