Spending the afternoon with Marty at the Uffizi was like being with an old friend. She was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. She showed us the important paintings and the history of each one. We wanted to see the Caravaggios, which might not have been on her normal “route”, but she made it possible to show them to us. This is the second time we used Cristina for a Uffizi tour. The first was in 2021 but my wife and my buddy’s wife both caught Covid and were restricted to their rooms while my buddy and I did the tour. Now back with my wife, we used Cristina again. Highly recommend her. Dina was the best! We booked a Highlights and hidden gems tour in Florence for my husband and 2 kids 15/13. Dina was truly awesome. Communication was fantastic pre tour and during - she provided us with so many fun facts and interesting stories. (Ones you can’t google!) Truly a magical evening with Anna! This tour was so much more than we expected, reading the description I wasn’t sure exactly how we would fit everything in without feeling rushed, but everything was perfect. I love that we got a taste of everything that’s amazing about Florence: wine, Gnudi, cheese, Negroni, Wild Boar Strew, Gelato! There wasn’t anything I would have changed about the evening. Anna was knowledgeable and kind while also keeping us safe and happy. For anyone nervous about the walking aspect of the tour, you stay within the same small area and it wasn’t very strenuous. There was a mix up by your company and not enough vans came. We were cramped into 2 vans. Our tour guide and our driver (Anna and Cristiano) stepped up , along with the other van driver, and found a solution. They deserve a lot of credit for their problem solving. That is why I gave this tour a high rating. The company really did not seem to be able to solve the searing shortage. Great morning seeing the highlights of Florence art and history. We were 2 families traveling with kids 14 to 18. Christina was energetic and incredibly engaging with both adults and kids. Incredibly personable and flexible with organizing the tour for us. My kiddo really likes pedestrian bridges and Martina arranged for us to finish up at Ponte Vecchio with a discussion of it so that when we parted ways we could further explore that area. Cristina was our best guide in Italy. She is so knowledgeable and makes everything relatable to all ages. Our children ages 17, 14 and 12 said it was their favorite tour. She even took us to an amazing spot for lunch and introduced us to the owner before going our separate ways.
