We loved our family tour with Dina. She kept our 6 and 9 year olds entertained for the 2 hour walking tour. Dina is friendly and the stories she told us of Florence we would never have learnt about by ourselves. After hearing our girls liked art and craft she took us into a store where the lady showed us how they do marble paint designs. Then Dina took us to her fav gelato store! One of the experiences my wife and I were really looking forward to in Florence was this food tour. I have to tell you that whatever I was expecting was far exceeded by the experience provided by Elisabetta. The food was amazing but made even more so by the context and history she provided. We not only sampled some really amazing fare but we understood how the culture, economics and history of Florence shaped the food they enjoy today. Elizabeth was a wonderful guide and showed us around the less touristy part of Florence. We enjoyed sampling the locals favorite foods and spend some time in the market. I booked this tour for my in-laws, specifically as part of a surprise trip for my mother-in-law's 60th. They have not stopped talking about how brilliant this tour with Cristina was. My mother-in-law is very knowledgeable about Art and she said Cristina really knows her stuff. She was also able to tailor the tour to them so they got lots of information they were personally interested in. She also recommended they visited the Royal Apartments which have recently opened and helped getting them a ticket as there are limited spots. They loved this. She also helped them find somewhere for lunch. Overall Cristina has been amazing. For me communicating with her it was perfect and she was very organised. Thanks so much Cristina. This was our first trip to Florence. To be honest when we first arrived, we thought Florence would be a one and done for us, but after our tour with Cristina, we are definitely going back! Michele was AMAZING. Super accommodating as we were late due to an unfortunate communication with our driver about which Piazza Della Republicia ….note - there’s more than one in Florence !!! Our family recently did a "Florence Walking Tour" with Cristina. It was wonderful! It was absolutely our speed - my kids (Ages 11, 9, 5) were able to see the beautiful sights of Florence while walking and moving our legs. Cristina was so knowledgeable and personable. She relayed so much information, and more as she patiently answered my son (and husband's) endless questions about the Medici's - she knew it all! Marco’s tour heightened our experience by incorporating both Medici and Demidoff tales as well as the Italian concept of perspective to build the biggest and boldest villa of its time. The Villa is gone now but the family chapel remains and of course the 35” tall colossus sculpture. He engaged us with the battle and betrayal of two Medici brothers vying for the Grand Duke title. Dina was the best tour guide we have ever had! She was so knowledgable and made the art and the history surrounding what we saw approachable and enjoyable.
