We have just spent a wonderful afternoon being shown around various locations and tasting some wonderful food along the way (don't eat before you go !!!). Marcus was a fantastic host and really knows his stuff! We learnt so much about the history and culture of Singapore which we would never have done just wandering around ourselves. It also gave us a good grounding of where everything is so will be able to go back to the places again. Marcus was very considerate - making sure we were in the shade when we stopped, supplying us with drinks to keep us hydrated and tickets for the MRT. All in all a fantastic day - thank you Marcus!!! The route and stops are cool, with good places to visit and food that was at least interesting, if not always to my taste. The value was challenging tho with three of us sharing some quite tiny plates of food. The guide - Hundred - was a very strange man. Mildly offensive at times with his 'jokes', not fit enough to walk the route, keen to tout random trinket stores on the way, and he managed to allow the group - there were three of us - to get split up on the train system, which I reckon is a easy fail for guiding. I'll certainly never forget the tour tho! Good tour, get a different guide.The guide was like a weird uncle

We began this experience by using WhatsApp to correspond with Arthur and tailor a tour based on exactly what we wanted to see during our short time in Singapore. He was incredibly accommodating and open to all suggestions! We ended up doing the Chinatown Hawker Stalls (Arthur being lovely enough to take us to one of the Michelin stalls (as requested) in addition to a few others) in addition to Garden by the Bay, Marina Sands, and the Merlion. Arthur was conscious of the weather and impending rain when he took us to the places requested; he attempted to keep us out of the rain and heat which was nice! He even took pictures of us throughout the tour as well and sent some via WhatsApp after! Finally, he provided some history and facts sprinkled in and was lovely throughout! I would highly recommend scheduling a tour with him!!! He made our experience in Singapore a memorable one!Amazing tour with Arthur!

The first thing Arthur did was ask us about what we were planning on our visit so that he would not overlap with the food tour we had planned. The Dim Sum lunch he orchestrated at Gardens by the Bay was outstanding. We then toured Marina Bay Sands and he knew all the tricks to see the best and avoid the crowds. Marcus showed us so much of Singapore - both history and food. He was able to cater to our group spanning 3 generations, was great with the kids and my older mother. We were very excited to learn about Hawker food and try things we wouldn’t normally order. 3 of us recently moved to SG and we had one visitor. Marcus was friendly and gave us a lot of SG history but we wanted to focus on food. I did like that we started at a more local hawker however 3 of the 5 tastings were dumplings. Next we had fruit as a tasting and finally we had satay at Lau Pa Sat. Our tour abruptly ended 30 minutes early after the satay was dropped off. We had questions to ask and we had hoped to at least walk through the hawker. We didn’t talk about any local dishes. For the price of the tour it was not worth it at all. My visitor and I ended up reading a few blogs and went back and just tried food on our own. I originally booked with a different guide and it was changed last minute. There was a lack of communication between the guides and I should have been clear about what we wanted to focus on. Disappointing for a food tour

My wife and I recently did the Singapore food tour with Marcus. He was great and knowledgeable. We met him in an Arab market, and later in the day two or through Little India and Chinatown. The food was all good. The choices in food were barely basic dishes but all very tasty. Marcus gave us really great history of all of the areas that we tour through. And also took us on the subway system and taught us how to get from place to place in Singapore. He also want the extra mile, because when I booked the tour I sent him a message that I wanted to try durian and would love to go to places that serve beer. When we met Marcus he handed me a bag with four beers and a sealed package of durian in it. When we went to Little India and Chinatown he got us glasses of ice to poor our beers into. If you book this tour I would recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip because the knowledge you will learn will help you make decisions of where to go on the remaining days of your trip. City tour wirh food mixed in.

We went on the "10 Tastings of Singapore" food tour with Arthur in February 2025. From the moment we booked it, we were impressed with Arthur. Within minutes we received messages from him with details about the tour and explaining that to get the best out of the experience, it might take longer than the stated 3 hours. We also received information about places to go, ways to get around Singapore and other really useful information. The tour included Arab Street, Little India and Chinatown and not only included lots of very lovely food, but also lessons on using the buses and the MRT and loads and loads of history. Arthur picked us up from our hotel lobby and left us at the end of the tour about 5 hours later, tired, much more knowledgable about this wonderful city, and very full! Marcus introduced himself at our meeting spot on Arab street and immediately dove into the history and culture of the area explaining how the city was founded. Our first taste was in a middle eastern restaurant, Nur Fayhidya, the first of many delicious stops. Marcus was quite attentive to our needs as one of our daughters had a little gastric distress from our previous travels. From there he took us into the subway and showed us how to easily navigate the expansive system. We explored Little India and then China town. In each of these areas he took us to food halls we would never had ventured into if it weren’t for our guide. He showed us the food stall quality rating system and how to choose vendors. We highly recommend Marcus! History, culture, food tour!

Marcus went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing food tour on Christmas Day. He provided us with bottled water and when my purse wasn’t big enough he bought me a bag to carry them in with his own money. He answered questions we had about the history of Singapore before we could even ask them. The food was all delicious and nothing we would have tried on our own. Marcus also brought wipes to clean the tables and out hands as well as napkins. He provided us with subway cards and made sure to show us on the map what stop to take back to our hotel. We’ve taken food tours in India and Vietnam and this was one of best we have taken. I would highly recommend taking the tour with Marcus. Perfect Day
