Our group of 4 enjoyed a great private tour in the heart of KL’s Chinatown with Siddoz and his trainee (Steve?). Siddoz was firstly very patient and understanding as we were delayed in KL traffic for ~15 mins. He catered to my fussy parents, explained the dishes we were trying and introduced us to foods we wouldn’t have ordinarily tried. He also took us to a couple of really cool spots for photo ops, some of the best photos on our holiday (thanks Steve, our personal photographer too!). We had requested a food tour focused on authentic local cuisine and street food that the locals eat here. I am a foodie and amateur cook myself, having lived and worked on three continents – most recently for three years in China. My interest always lies in the true local cuisines of ordinary people. I had not yet experienced Malaysian cuisine firsthand. Through Siddoz, we learned more about this cuisine in one evening than we could have on our own in a week. Adnan is a class act! Picked us up at the hotel and took us to Batu Caves. Pleasant conversation during the ride and walk. Lots of great insights into the history of the area afterwards, he recommended the hot springs and water falls. This was a much more local experience and the family really enjoyed it. At the end, he dropped us off at our destination of choice (which was good because a huge thunderstorm hit shortly after). Vehicle was clean, comfortable, and made the experience better! A must hire for your trip to KL!Awesome time with a great host!

He spent quite a lot of time on his phone so there wasn't a lot of interaction between us but he knew his way around the best food stalls which was really what we were interested in! Naast de heerlijke Food tour, nam hij ons ook mee naar een feest van het Chinese nieuwjaar, dit was voor ons een extra inkijkje in de cultuur, wat wij erg leuk vonden. Her love of her brief was obvious from the start. Easily the most genuine guide we have ever had. Having less than 24 hours in Kuala Lumpur my wife and I wanted to experience the food and culture as best we could in that short space of time for our first night of our honeymoon - we booked a street food tour with May. The tour was excellent. May, local to the area, took us to the Pasar Malam Taman Connaught night market. She was extremely welcoming, knowledgable and fun. We walked and ate our way through the market, trying a variety of dishes, sweet and savoury - all delicious. May caters to your taste through getting to know you and what you like/dislike. From start to finish our tour was like being with a knowledgeable friend. Being taken around by a native KL-er who was as passionate about food as we all are was such a treat. Being taken to local food spots that probably we might not have had the confidence to try and eating/drinking Malaysian food with a lovely friendly local lady was such a treat. Be warned - you will be full if not before the end, at the end. Manjeet has a blog and also loads of tips about other places in Malaysia that she herself has visited many times. We booked the Nightmarket Tour with May and we had a really wonderful time! She took us to a night market out of town where we could try both Chinese and Malay dishes and snacks and soak up the unique atmosphere. May was a truly gracious host and knowledgeable guide. She selected a wide variety of delicious food and also accommodated our special requests (I.e. things we really wanted to try). All the while explaining us what we were eating, why it is special and liked. In the end we were all very full, happy and quite a bit smarter. Manjeet is a great person, so nice, so knowledgeable. She already contacted us before our trip with tips and recommendation. For the tour, she picked us up at our hotel in KL downtown and took us to a Chinese temple. Then we drove back to Chinatown and she showed us many corners we would have never seen. We visited a Hindu temple, too and also were helped to taste some food on our tour without a doubt of what we eat could not be safe. She found a boba tea place to the wish of our daughter (11). Manjeet is so enjoyable, she answered all of our questions, she resonated with our children and we had good conversations and a really great time together. Would definitely recommend Manjeet and would for sure meet with her again if in KL next time.This is faboulus 🤩

Thank you TK for taking my family and I on a personalised food tour around Central Market and Petaling Street! TK was extremely responsive from the get-go and really easy to communicate with. On the day, my grandma decided to join and TK was super accommodating. Due to this however, the tour was made challenging as my grandma (being elderly) wanted to wander on her own and didn't really understand the concept of a "tour". May was our tour guide for a brief 4 hours visit from our cruise ship. She managed the time very well. May took us to KL Tower and took quality pictures for our group (7 of us). We also went to Independence Square. She also showed us how KL got it's name. We ended the tour with a Malaysian feast. In order to complete the lunch on time, she helped ordering, serving and clearing the table. All of us on the tour were very satisfied. May went above and beyond the duties of a tour guide. I was surprised to find out at the beginning of the food tour that it was snack food only which I wasn’t aware if. . We tried a variety of small foods, but had to buy our own dinner. Even prior to the meeting Siddoz was very prompt with messages and tailored the tour as per our needs. This was my third visit to Malaysia and I think I knew most about Malaysian food. However within the first 2 dishes quickly proved me wrong. We went from stall to stall - each hand picked for what it was great at - and we got to try some great dishes from the differnt ethnic groups that make up the Malaysian population. Would definitely recommend this guide. Great intro to malaysian food.
