We were incredibly lucky to explore Marrakech with Jaafar on the day of Eid – a truly unique experience. The usually bustling souks were quiet and peaceful, giving the city a completely different, almost magical atmosphere. Jaafar made the most of this special day. He shared fascinating historical facts, gave us great tips for planning the rest of our trip, and even brought water to keep us comfortable. He offered deep insights into local life – from how traditional bakeries work to daily customs that you’d never find in a guidebook. So patient and accommodating! It was my first time in Marrakesh (Morocco in general) with my 70 year-old mother and Rachid really made our mother-daughter trip AMAZING. As this was are first time in Morrocco/ Marrakech my husband and I thought it was a good idea to get guide to show us around the medina. We both love history so wanted someone who could not only show us how to navigate the medina but share with us the unique history. Redouan was definitely our man and was more than what we hoped for. Hassan was everything we could have hoped for during our visit to Marrakesh. We found him last minute after our original guide didn’t show up — and it turned out to be a true blessing in disguise. Redouan is a very friendly man full of local knowledge. He certainly enlightened us in more ways than one as we discussed everything from history to religion and crafts walking narrow alleyways in the medina we would never have seen on our own. It was very interesting to observe local craftsmen doing their work. It was our first day in Marrakech and a perfect way to start our visit. Redouan recommended a local rooftop restaurant for lunch after our tour who had the local dish we had been shown how were made earlier and it was a perfect place for us to enjoy great food and let all the impressions from our hours with Redouan sink in. We would have given Redouan full score if we didn't find that it was at times a bit difficult to understand his English. Interesting start of our stay

We had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Chafik wandering around the Souks, Medina and Madrasa Ben Youssef as a family of four. We asked to see how Moroccan people lived and worked with the Medina and had some wonderful experiences seeing bread/meat being cooked and watching craftsmen at work. We absolutely would not have had the same experiences walking on our own. Chafik made the tour fun and informative for our two children and we all had a great time. We had a great short tour (2.5 hours) with Adil in Marrakech, and it honestly felt like the perfect intro to the city. Right from the start, he was super welcoming – even treated us to a local “beer” and some doughnuts, which was such a nice, unexpected touch. Adil was really knowledgeable but kept everything light and easy to follow. He answered all our questions with a smile and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We asked if we could pop into a herbal/perfume shop along the way, and he was happy to fit it in. Even though it was a short tour, we felt like we saw and learned a lot. We did the fabulous food tasting tour with Omar and had a really great time! We are a family with two teens, 17 and 12. I made the mistake of booking a tour at 3 pm and Omar contacted us beforehand to politely ask if we would like to delay the start. We were very grateful for his common sense! Omar is a knowledgeable and ethical tour guide. He took us to some lovely places we would never have found and gave us a great insight into Moroccan culture. The food was lovely and we were very full by the end. Our boys are foodies so that part of the tour was always going to be appreciated, however they also enjoyed all the other information. The Herbalism shop was a big hit with all of us. The presentation was educational and no pressure at all to buy anything. We did because the products are lovely! Very glad we did this tour at the beginning of our journey. It will help us appreciate the Moroccan experience even more.Insightful tour

Hassan and his able assistant showed us a great time round Marrakech visiting the non-tourist side of the souks and old Marrakesh. He adapted the schedule to suit our needs and coped with 10 of us no problem. Essential trip, even if you’ve been to the main tourist parts of Marrakech before. Price was cheaper than other major tourist companies. Would highly recommend & we will be back Hassan! We kregen een privé rondleiding van Lhoussaine in het hart van Marrakech. Hij wist pas last minute dat onze dochter gluten intolerant was (kreeg de boodschap niet via de app) maar heeft hier goed rekening mee gehouden. My husband and I booked a bespoke medina tour with Redouan to seek artisanal craft and he really delivered. We were taken to see handmade leather goods, beautiful brass lighting, antique doors and ceramics, Berber jewellery and rugs, handmade ceramic tiles…….. There was no pressure to buy but we will go back on our own when we’ve had a think as to which goods we actually want. I would definitely recommend him and would book with him again. C'est Adil qui nous a accueillis sur la place Jamaa El Fna, nous avons fait une belle visite du centre de Marrakech. Il a été très prévenant et nous a fait bénéficié de sa large connaissance de l'histoire de la ville, ce qui a donné un intérêt tout particulier à cette visite guidée. Il nous a indiqué un très bon café lorsque nous avons voulu faire une pause, nous y avons dégusté un délicieux thé à la menthe et des pâtisseries. We met with Ouidad as a group of 12 female entreprenuers, all keen to to understand a little more about life in Marrakesh, as well as developing negotiation skills in the Souks too. What we got was so much more.... Ouidad was inviting and welcoming from the very start. She made the organising of the tour super easy and asked for anything in particular we wanted to know about. Her humour and ability to tell stories was incredible. We visited a pharmacy and learnt more about Argan oil and it's properties, plus had a wonderful lesson on how to do sales without being pushy. The team here were also a joy to listen too and many of the group shared what a fabulous insight this part of the tour was. I would not hesitate to recommend Ouidad as a tour guide. We did the street food tour with Lhoussaine. Our tour was adjusted instead of private it was in a group. We were informed about this in time. It was a great guide who really let us enjoy the tasty things in Marrakesh. Super friendly and nothing was too much. Even more information about other things you wanted to know. This tour with Lhou and Mohammed was amazing! These two guys love their city, know so much about it and passionate about showing it to its guests!
