Laos was incredibly insightful as to the cultural, artistic, and architectural history of the CDMX Historical Center. We enjoyed his enthusiastic stories and historical retellings as well as his passion for art. Laos was also very generous with his time and rescheduled us easily when we were sick at our original meeting time. He customized the experience based on my interests, and since it was a religious day, most museums were closed — but he made the most of it by focusing on churches, landmarks, and, of course, tacos. His background in art really came through, and he was incredibly patient and knowledgeable throughout. I had asked to include some food stops, and he definitely delivered — taking me to a few local spots I never would’ve found on my own. Felt more like exploring the city with a friend than a guide. I can’t believe how much Al was able to pack in such a short amount of time. We did the “kickstart” tour on our first evening in CDMX and it was the perfect beginning to a fantastic trip. Tania was a fabulous tour guide!! We had so much fun on our tour with her. She was passionate, energetic, stylish and very well-informed. We went to the Muralismo museum with her and in addition to learning about the pieces themselves received a deep dive on Mexican culture that really made the experience that much more important. She also took us to THE MOST AMAZING TACO STAND!! Her patience, openness, and honesty in answering our various questions was admirable. We basically made our own tour schedule because we had a 92 year old gentleman traveling with us. She coordinated renting cars for some of our outings. We apologize this review is long overdue. We had a lovely time learning about the history of Mexico city with Nalleli. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about her city. She provided great context to all the art and architecture and we truly enjoyed her stories. We also had quite the experience because mid-way through the tour we were completely rained out. We were caught in a thunder storm and had to stop, but Nalleli was very gracious and offered to re-schedule for the next day. Wonderful!
