In the 3 hours we had, we visited so many places in Mumbai. I learned how to use the local trains, saw incredible architecture, roamed the streets of touching neighbourhoods and learned many interesting stories and details. Purvi was a great guide, and really fun to spend the time with. Thanks again :) The price was a bit high though.

We had a really enjoyable and informative time on our tour with Srikanth. Beforehand we were somewhat apprehensive about taking a slum tour, but Srikanth soon put us at ease and we never felt uncomfortable, imposing or unsafe at any time, maintaining a tone of respect and dignity for the residents at all times. He took great time to explain the many fascinating aspects of daily life in the slums, all the amazing commercial activities in a never to be forgotten experience. We also loved gifting the pens and pencils (that we brought with us) at the school to the young children. As an added bonus, Srikanth is a professional photographer and he took so many great photos that he shared with us. We had the best time with Gautam on the Street Food Experience! So much food, lots of sights and all guided by Guatam’s knowledge, passion and experience. Good to see another bustling part of Mumbai and market that would be worth returning to (right near Dadar station). Many sweet with a few savory tastings of ‘grab and go’ foods. Various types of pancakes. Pretty tummy friendly I’d say. Juliana is very knowledgeable about the foods. We found it all rather filling and couldn’t even manage one portion between 2 of us. I did. Some foods only found in Mumbai.

We had the most amazing food tour with Gautam! From gosa to lassi and everything in between! Gautam met us close to our hotel & after our first gastronomic treat we took a local train (what an experience - we would never have done it ourselves!). We didn’t see a single westerner for the whole of our tour, which took us through the flower market, past the pigeon house, down alleys, across streets, with so much to look at and taste. We loved every minute & every mouthful!What an amazing day!

I had a great day with Gautam.I had asked for a food tour and to see a market. We went to local eateries which I would never have found by myself…the lassi was particularly good in that it was very thick and eaten with a spoon. The vegetarian Bombay burger was also very good, as well as other delicious morsels..In fact I couldn’t eat any more. The tour was excellent, taking in local landmarks of where we’re staying, explaining the history of the area, but also discussing the culture and real life of greater Mumbai. Very good and communicative guide. moves efficiently around the city, at the same time watching over the guests so that they do not get lost :) great knowledge of places, it is also nice that he shows smaller attractions. Purvi is really nice, friendly and open to explain any doubts you have! We did this tour on our first day in Mumbai and walking the landmarks with her was a great introduction to the city, its history and even its flavours. Purvi also showed us an arts festival that is not usually part of the tour but it was on during that week. If it was not with her we would have missed it. I cannot recommend traveling with Purvi enough! She arranged an itinerary to my liking and had everything set up for us. We visited incredible temples and markets. Amazing south mumbai experience with our tour guide Gautham !!! This tour was so great to go on, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get a feel of Mumbai in a short span of time. My kids loved mumbai so much , that at the end of the day they didn't want to leave the city :(( Right from catching up on our delays to on the fly changes in itinerary to visit certain spots Goutham was very adaptable and was super personable. He also made sure we get the best of the food tour as well. Vada pav is our most favorite dish now :)) We felt like we toured mumbai with a family member rather then a guide .His knowledge about the culture and city was truly impressive. What stood out the most was his care , to see if kids were doing okay and if they needed something and constantly keeping them engaged. Thanks to Gautum, our trip to Mumbai was unforgettable. A lovely tour of this bustling and elegantly historic area of South Mumbai. It was unlike anywhere else we have been in India - full of Victorian gothic architecture and British Raj resonances.
