We were disappointed with our food tour ! We were at the exact point where we were told to meet but Mai was at a different place so the tour started late ! Although Mai was friendly she was very shy and not talkative , we found it hard to communicate at times as her English was ok but not great and she didn’t really explain the local foods and what we were trying.We felt as if Mai had other arrangements and was just waiting for the tour to be over . At the end of the tour Mai arranged a taxi for us as we where no where near the starting point and we didn’t know where we where , to make matters worse the taxi driver overcharged us !!Disappointing !!

This tour was amazing!! Definitely the highlight of our trip to Nha Trang! From the moment we booked the tour, Lâm was very engaged in making sure we were going to have an awesome tour. She asked us about our food preferences and dietary restrictions and what our expectations were for the tour. She did an excellent job of specializing the tour for us. She coordinated our transportation as the places she selected for us to visit were spread out across the city and she gave us information about Nha Trang as we drove from location to location. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible afternoon. Lâm, with the help of her friend, curated an amazing itinerary, filled with hidden gems you’d never find on your own in the non-touristy areas of Nha Trang. We were a large group, and we went to 7 different locations and sampled 12 different foods/drinks. Each stop was carefully chosen, offering dishes that tourists don't typically encounter. Almost every dish on the tour was new to our group. It was so cool to sample such a variety of food/drinks, especially those that are local to Nha Trang and some of the comfort food Lâm enjoys when she's missing her home in the north. It was a unique opportunity to explore the true depth of Vietnamese street food. Her friend even played some harmonica music for us at one of the stops while we were sampling some delicious sweets. What really stood out was Lâm’s dedication to creating a specialized experience for our group. This was far from your typical cookie-cutter food tour. Her passion and knowledge shone through in every story she shared about the dishes, the vendors, the connection to where the food comes from and how it is grown. The absolute highlight for our group was the final spot Lâm took us to, it was a special hidden gem that is one of her favourite spots that tourists don't know about where we got to eat delicious homemade ice cream and drink Vietnamese coffee. It was a truly local experience! Lâm was such a great tour guide; she was very engaging and enthusiastic, and you can tell he has a passion for sharing her culture with tourists. Highly recommend a tour with Lâm if you want to eat delicious food and hear about Vietnam through a local's eyes. Come with an empty stomach because you will eat a ton of food! Also recommend doing the tour at the beginning of your stay so you can go back to the places you visit and Lâm can recommend more places to go! Fantastic food tour in Nha Trang!

We spent 3 days with Lam. It's like meeting your long lost little sister for the first time. She is fun, energetic and such a great tour guide. Avec Linh vous ne serai pas déçu, un Français parfois meilleur que les Français. En effet j’avais des demandes très particulières, hors des circuits touristiques habituels et Linh a su s’adapter et adapter mes visites, correspondant exactement à mes attentes. Our guide, Lâm, made our local foodtour better than expected. She was so engaged before and really interested in to know about what we liked foodwise and our expectations. Are you a foodie? Then you should go on a local foodtour in Nha Trang, with the guide Lâm. A wonderful vietnamese foodie. We thought we new what we wanted. But she asked a lot of questions and was really interested in what we liked and expected to experience and eat. She suggested a plan and we went for it. AND had the best, cosy, fun and wonderful experience. We were a little bit disapoited of Vietnamese food before the foodtrip, (since we have spent lots of time in Thailand and love their food) But we had not found the right places and right dishes.( And how to eat them) The only 2 bad things about the trip was it went to fast. We thought 3 hrs was long. And we got to full and had to skip the Ban Mi fish version. But Lâm gave us the directions to the place so we could go there the next day. If you want fantastic local food, see the non touristy places and see and hear Vietnam through a locals eyes. Enjoy and come with an empty stomach. Do it in the beginning of your stay. WE LOVE Lâm!!! We had the pleasure of taking a food tour with Lâm, and it was an unforgettable experience! Lâm is super sweet and friendly, making us feel welcome and at ease throughout the tour. Today I have had a fantastic private motorbike tour with Ms. Lâm, who is a perfect guide and a lovely young lady. She speaks a very good English, is very kind and informative and took good care of me all the time. From Nha Trang city center we went to Thanh citadel and later to the Ba Ho waterfalls, where I relaxed while soaking in the lake #1.I regret not to have continued up to the lake #2, but the hard path through, and on, the huge rocks turned me off; anyway I enjoyed the fresh water and the little waterfall. I am really amazed by the stunning landscapes Vietnam has to offer. I've been many times in this country and what I love most is the nature, the countryside, the wild and I've never been disappointed. I look forward to having another funny tour next year (hopefully).private motorbike tour with nature and countryside.

Mai came and picked me up at the hotel, she took me on a short tour on her scooter and showed me the nice city of Nha Trang. Then we went for the food adventure. Mai took me to places I would not have found by myself, it was a non-touristic area. The food was excellent and it was plenty of it, she picked the best and most interesting food from the menu. We visited several places and all was a new experience, the three hours went by really fast. Mai is very nice and easy to talk to, speaks very good English. I would really recommend to book a tour with Mai.Great experience

We were lucky enough to come upon this tasting tour with Linh. As Vietnamese-Canadians returning to Vietnam for our first visit in fifty years, we wanted to have an authentic experience. Much of the food we had already tried felt catered for tourists. Until we met Linh. She took us to little out-of-the-way places that served incredible dishes, with each specializing in a very specific dish. Every dish was a winner and we are picky foodies. The food was great but our interactions with Linh are what set the tour apart. She was extremely thoughtful, prepared and flexible. She customized the tour according to our tastes as the tour went along. She intertwined historical information with personal stories of the people who we met with throughout our travels. We learned more in our short time with her over the three days we trekked it alone. She really went above and beyond for us. Linh is a sweet soul. She is very kind and wonderful with my children. They both love her. We didn’t do the original plan that Linh had set out for us as it turned out my children couldn’t walk as much in the heat and there’s a general lack of footpaths in Vietnam. Linh adapted the plan for us and the children were happy. She also provided us with great recommendations on restaurants and spas. We tried them out and were very happy. I highly recommend this experience with Linh. She met us with drinks to taste, in reusable cups and carrying bags, before we began our walking journey. The local spots we visited were delicious and truly unique to Nha Trang. We started with the most amazing spring rolls, eggs, and a vegetarian dish for starters. Then moved on to a chicken and rice restaurant that was my favorite dish of the night. We also had Pho served in a clay pot that was phenomenal. We finished the night with bahn mi sandwiches, two desserts, and a drink at a roof top bar. On top of the amazing food, Linh was great company. She speaks great English, but also speaks French and of course Vietnamese. She is very kind and easy to talk to. If you find yourself looking for a unique food experience, book with Linh!!Wonderful experience

Linh was the most amazing guide. Such a sweet soul. Her passion for the food and city of nha trang is amazing. She took us to 9 of her favourite spots around the beautiful city of Nha Trang (didn’t have enough stomach space to fit in the last restaurant 😅). The food was amazing, and so different to anything we have experienced before. We met linh in the foyer of our hotel where we were welcomed with fresh cane sugar juice. It was a warm night and linh took it upon herself to organise Taxis so we didn’t have to walk in the scorching Nha Trang heat. Linh made Nha Trang feel like a second home to us and I can’t wait to come back to do it all again. Linh’s English was perfect and had such rich insight into what we were eating and the history behind some of the restaurants we were eating at (even providing me with recipes of some of the meals/sauce’s I enjoyed) If you are looking for a food tour to book while in Nha Trang, I couldn’t recommend a better person, as she is extremely friendly and accomodating. Linh delivered an excellent tour of some amazing food spots in Nha Trang. So friendly and welcoming, it was a relaxing and enjoyable time. We wanted a special tour away from the tourism. She brought our 3 kids and us to the river to watch the sunset. It was incredible. We had dinner in a very local street and for a very local price. It was soooo delicious. Then she brought us to a place which showed us the very very old Nha Trang. We had some drinks and a lot of fun. Unfortunately we did not have time to see the temples but we will do it next time. Lâm ist a very child friendly and lovely person. A real sweetheart. Lam was a super friendly guide who made it possible for us to be picked up and dropped off at our resort instead of meeting in Nha Trang. She was very accommodating and took us to Trong Son Craft Village, Old Nha Trang, Po Nogar Cham Towers, refreshing drink stops, and a rice paddy stop. Lots of great photos were taken. We had a wonderful trip with Lâm exploring the beautiful city of Nha Trang. She is an excellent tour guide, sharing history and stories of life in Vietnam. Lam is a delight to have as a tour guide. She is warm, sweet, kind, passionate and proud of her city and her country. She takes great pride in showing you around the city to introducing you to things that only a local would know like the best place to have a banhmi, the best place to get a coffee and, a secret location to get the best view of the ocean. The only thing that could be improved is if she had a little more historical knowledge of things like the temple and pagoda. Having said this, she was kind enough to arrange for us to have a private cooking class and dinner a local chef Hai Anh from HE STUDIO. It was an experience not to be missed and which we would not have enjoyed if not for Miss Lam’s suggestions. Overall, I can’t emphasize enough that this warm hearted person gave us an insight into the city that we would never acquired on our own! It is an experience that should not be missed! I would highly recommend this tour to those who want to get to know the real Nha Trang!!!Wonderful tour with an amazing local!

What an amazing day with Lam ☺️ She’s so friendly, her English is incredible and she took us off the beaten track to beautiful local spots with no tourists, as well as the main ‘must see’ locations. Where do I even start. Nh Trang is my first spot of my solo adventure across Vietnam and I am so glad I started in this city, because it embrace with warmth and lots of love. Lam, was the first and only person I knew in town and she was the absolute best. I am grateful to have met a beautiful soul like her. She took me to many hidden gems that are not known by tourists which was so soothing especially for someone who loves nature like me. She also went out of her way to help me out with through the city, introducing me to local foods, cafes, people and lots of history. She really knows and loves the city and it reflects in the way she explains about the city. I spent two days with her and it was so much fun which I had more time. Lam was our guide and she was a super sweet girl who was very easy to talk to. She took us to many places to eat as well as a local fresh fruit and veggies market. We ended with dessert and she even sent over some links to other places she would recommend us trying.
