Eugenie was such an amazing guide and she delivered a brilliant tour exploring the criminal history of nice. She also shared tips on hidden bars, the best places for food and was overall very friendly and really nice to talk to. We had no prior knowledge of the history and left with an abundance of interesting facts and stories of the area. Eugenie offers a tour different to the rest. We met up with Natalia on the morning of our first day in Nice. The meeting location was very easy to find and she was prompt on messaging to find each other. We did a tour of Old Nice which we have now been back to three times to scope out some of the best items that she recommended. We then went on a walk up to the castle so got a lot of the history of the area and there’s a playground up there that the kids played at while we got some more recommendations of local things to do. We loved getting this insider view of the city. Have already recommended WithLocals tours to family and friends.Family friendly tour! Great time!

She showed us some places we probably never would have found on our own.The history was appropriate and interesting.she gave us suggestions for dinner bakeries etc and 2 hours was perfect after a long flight the night before. Do not hestitate, book Natalia! She is very friendly and accommodating to her audience. We were travelling with 3 kids, and tours with lots of story telling and historical facts do not really work with children. We have a new friend for life with Natalia!!! This may have been my favorite tour of a 2 week trip. Okay, yes I like to eat and this was a tasting tour, but we got the best treats along the way. Natalia is charming, easy to talk to and we definitely formed a bond. She showed us all around Vieux Nice so that we were comfortable knowing our way around for days after the tour. She pointed out the best food stops, restaurants and shops and remained available after the tour if we needed anything. She is so lovely and she made us fall even more in love with Nice and its spirit and the joie de vivre !

She not only showed us the most beautiful spots in the city but also always responded to our questions and shared many interesting stories about the local shops. The visit to the Castle Hill was particularly impressive, where we learned quite a bit about the history of Nice. We would have loved to hear even more information during this part of the tour, but overall, it was a wonderful time. We booked a food kickstarter tour of Nice that included 6 food tastings. We expected this to be like other WithLocals food tours where we would walk & talk, stop to eat, walk & talk, eat, etc. Unfortunately that did not happen. While Karin was a pleasant and informative guide, we only stopped for food once 1.5 hours into our 2 hour tour. When I pointed out that we were not getting what we had paid for, Karin said the company writes the description but that is not the tour she does. Lesson learned is to always confirm the tour specifics with the guide. We complained to WithLocals and got a credit and we learned a lot about Nice (which was helpful) but we were disappointed since we did not get the experience that we expected. Pleasant guide, but not the tour we booked

Nothing beats a good story. This was the most memorable walk I've had in Nice over the past 10 years. This well-researched tour was highly captivating, and the walk itself placed us in the center of each crime tale we were told. First, I rarely write reviews but this was one of the best walking tours I’ve been on. It’s not your typical city tour but it’s one you’ll be sure to remember. You can tell that Eugenia has taken a lot of time doing research into the stories she shared. The information was very interesting and unique - not something you can find on a wikipedia page. She did a great job answering follow up questions. Also, bonus points for being so patient and helpful when we couldn’t find the meet up location right away. 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone who wants something a little different than your standard tour and for anyone who likes history, mystery, and/or true crime!I rarely write review but...
