David proved to be a great choice and took us on a brilliant tour of mostly the older quarters of the city. It provided a great insight into the history of the city and generations of its occupiers from from Roman to the velvet revolution. David pointed out so many details of the architecture and city fabric - mediaeval, art deco,cubist,art nouveau modernist etc. and managed to get access to some fabulous buildings. He was a great guide with an easy, style and engaging character. Fun too. We would highly recommend David.10

I cannot say enough good things about my tour with Hana. First off, I was ill the night before my scheduled tour and Hana kindly pushed back the start time so I could recuperate. We met in the late afternoon and walked all through Prague's streets as the sun began to set. This made a spectacular background for the history of Prague and the many photo spots Hana has chosen throughout the city. She showed me a some places I would never have found on my own and brought me to one of the loveliest local shops hidden in a courtyard. We had a fantastic 3 hours tour with Dimitri and it was great. While our group was certainly not easy (a toddler, 2 teenagers and a husband not quite so interested in history plus me, wanting to know EVERYTHING), Dimitri made a fantastic job to engage with everyone. When our hands were full he took the stroller, when our toddler wanted ice cream we stopped, when the teenies were ignoring him he smiled and moved on to tell more about the fantastic history of Prague. We have travelled multiple times to Europe and taken various tours. On this occasion the experience was just off. Had booked a private tour with Lokey on our first ever trip to Prague so we could get an overview of the city. Lokey met us on time at the designated place he chose. And it was raining very hard so we asked him if he was able to reschedule or we would just do the trip . Giving it 5 stars out of 10 stars since he did reschedule and was flexible. Beyond that, this was the worst tour we took. Being a private tour, he was not willing to listen at all to what we wanted to see. Instead he had a set itinerary and would not budge . Mind you when we booked online it was described as a 3 hour private tour which could be tailored to our likes. He was not at all warm and understanding, instead very stabs offing. Just the 3 of us and he did not even try to keep us together. And was condescending of any questions asked. Have never ever seen a guide behave this way. It ruined our only day in Prague and wish we had taken one of the group tours instead. And to add to it, once I posted my review he sent me a curt message “ telling me to change my review “ . I thought reviews were earned by your customer service and not demanded ? Just ok

Our family had an awesome city tour experience with Lokey starting with his recommendation of meeting at Cafe Slavia which gave us the best meal of our trip; finding out afterwards that it had played an important role in Czech Republic’s political history made it even better. And this was before we even met him in person! Lokey is an original - a transplant to Prague who is passionate about his adopted country and his profession as an artist/photographer - who took us to all the major sights (that’s what we asked for) but gave us insightful and little-known facts about each place that we wouldn’t have been able to find out on our own. My teens love art and we love history and he showed and taught us how public art was part of Prague’s identity as a city and in its people which made it more meaningful for all of us. Also, he took great family photos of us at each location. We felt that we got so much more than a highlights tour and recommend Lokey 100%.Prague tour with an expat artist’s perspective - unique and not to be missed!

Hana was right on time meeting at the designated location spot. She was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and open to suggestion on the custom tour, however we mostly followed her lead. Up the hill to the castle on a tram, a quick stop at a brewery run by monks for a pint (using her contacts to get a nice inside table in the VIP room), then off to the sites. Church, castle, old town, bridge, tower, etc. stopping for photos and unique snacks along the way. Around every corner, Hana had another unique story of history to tell. A lawyer with personal experience in both politics and global travel herself, meeting tourists on the side for fun. … Hana, is like that long-lost-aunt that you wish you had in Prague. We had a pleasant, competent tour guide with Hana and saw the most important sights of this wonderful City. We were a bit surprised by the fast end of the tour after a little more than about 2 hours, although a 3-hour tour was booked. She was gone so quickly that we could only ask later - when we asked, she said that we were so fast, we found the tour to be quite slow and comfortableSchöne Tour, etwas zu kurz/ Nice tour, a bit too short
