Danny did the perfect job introducing Valencia to our family that included (and at times inpatient) 3 kids. Besides educating us with the rich history, he was patient, accommodating, and friendly. Most importantly we NEVER felt rushed and he slowed down to matched our kids pace (Starbucks and candy were also a highlight :-) due to the super hot summer heat. Our kids can be a bit shy with strangers, but Danny kept them involved, had jokes, made it interactive and by the end of the tour he completely won them over! Thank you Danny for your passion and talent! After the tour my kids said “mom he was pretty good, he deserves not 5 but 10 stars!” Just whay we needed!

Slower pace than what we expected. Explanations given were not as detailed as those given by other guides we encountered. This tour could have been covered in much less than 3 hours. We realize that it was harder to navigate streets because of the Fallas festivities. Perhaps use a microphone as we had a hard time hearing the guide.Walking tour of Valencia

Marcos was well prepared for our tour. He carried pictures, maps and graphs for nearly every building in the city on his tablet. Talked about the history of the city and spain itself. We strolled through the tiniest streets, we would have never discovered ourself. The recommendations for his favourite restaurants, tapas places and bars did indeed not disappoint! We (family with 2 teenagers) are so happy we booked a tour with Marcos! It was the first time ever that we booked a tour with a guide. And we didn't regret. We had a lot of fun and really got to love Valencia. Marcos took the time to involve us all. And that can be a challenge with 2 teenage boys, but he succeeded. Marcos told us very interesting facts and showed a lot of images which made the stories more lively. He also gave us a lot of good ideas about how to spend the rest of our time in Valencia: where to swim, what places to visit, where to eat, etc. Marcos is really friendly and easy going. Too many our guides simply just tell you facts, such as the date of this building and the name of that building etc.; facts that one forgets within a few hours after the tour. The tour with Marcos was a highlight of València. We really enjoyed how engaging and knowledgeable Marcos was, the three hours flew by and we learned so much about the city. Valentín was a very pleasant guide who was generous with his time, and made sure we tasted many Valencian specialities, visiting the central market for fresh produce and then a wine bar for tapas, and finishing in a cocktail bar to try Agua de Valencia - delicious! He also answered our questions about the architecture and demographics of the city, and gave a couple recommendations. What a fantastic 3.5 hours. A superb teacher who brought the old and the new of Valencia to life. A history lesson, recommendations on where to go by ourselves and Spanish lessons for my daughter as we toured the highlights of this beautiful city. I felt very sorry for the packed generic tours .. whilst we had a totally bespoke tour catering to exactly what we wanted to learn, taste in the market and plan for other days.
