Things To Do With Teenagers in Bruges

What a lovely afternoon I had with Xavier! I was happy to have his assistance navigating my way out of Bruges, and loved all the information he shared about the town and surrounding area’s history. After an easy ride to Nantes we stopped for a drink in the lovely town and returned a different tour so I could see more of the area. So happy it did this tour.

Having met Xavier at the station we headed off to explore. He was interesting and informative, the cycling was easy to manage along cycle lanes and out to Damme. Damme is a very attractive city. It was a real highlight of our weekend and can't recommend the tour enough.

This was one of the prettiest bike rides I've been on and my husband said it was the highlight of Bruges for him!! You can tell Xavier really loves to show off the beauty of the countryside and loves the history of Dammes and Bruges! The ride is mostly on dedicated bike paths outside the city, so it was definitely less stressful than riding in Amsterdam. Would recommend this ride as a great way to escape the tourist crowds!!

It was a stunning October day blessed with sunshine and the countryside is well worth a visit. You may even wish to re-visit Damme on your own later. Meurisse is an enthusiastic and passionate tour guide. 😄
