Awesome day with a great guide!
Our guide, Oun insisted that we rise early to get to Angkor Wat for sunrise. We’re so glad we did.

A wonderful Khmer New Year tour
We did a sunrise tour with Long, and we were not disappointed. It was the first day of Khmer New Year and we saw all the local dignitaries getting ready to welcome the king to Angkor Wat. What a once in a lifetime experience for us and our two kids aged 10 and 8.
Long was very knowledgeable about Cambodian history and told us some amazing stories about Buddhism and Hinduism. Our kids really enjoyed those stories, as did we!

Great energy, knowledge and English
Oun toured Angkor Wat, Baphuon, Ta Prohm and two lesser known temples in Angkor Thom with us. He was thoughtful and tailored the content well for my wife and me, as well as for our two girls. The logistics worked perfectly too. We visited in a tuk tuk that had been specially built and driven by his brother. Overall, a first-class experience and would highly recommend to other travelers. Going without another group meant we could adjust the pace according to everyone’s interest levels which was a big plus. Oun grew up in the area, and his dad worked as a security guard at one of the Angkor Thom temples. Very good English too.
