Highlights Tours in Montreal

My parents and I recently took a Canadian cruise from Montrèal to Portland ME. We went a day early and decided to book a personal tour. The price from the ship was double the cost Marie was asking for just 3 of us. Marie was in touch early asking about any personal preferences etc. She met us at our hotel downtown and took us on an amazing tour of Old and New Montreal. She has a ton of knowledge and love for the city. We left with a great feel of Montrèal. I can’t recommend Marie or Montrèal enough. Make sure you have good walking shoes though. It was a lot of walking.

Marie was terrific with us. We did the two hour tour due to some foot injuries and asked in advance for her to plan in a few rest points. She was very knowledgeable with quite interesting history of Montreal and even politics that occurred in the late 1900’s shaping what Montreal is today. We hit all of the major sites we wanted to see. Highly recommend.

Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours we spent with Marcelo. He took us through many significant neighborhoods in the city and told us about Montreal's past, present and future. We learned so much! Marcelo had a gentle, engaging manner which made us feel comfortable to ask questions. He gave us lots of good tips on sites to see, neighborhoods to further explore and places to eat. Even after the tour was over, Marcelo sent us additional recommendations and even travel instructions using the Metro! We could not have had a better tour guide - he was thorough, informative and clearly loves Montreal and it's international citizenry and English/French history.

We very much enjoyed our tour with Victoria. The information she presented was relevant to our interests and we learned a lot about Montreal. We look forward to our next visit to this exceptional city.
