Mia is extremely knowledgeable, both about the short term and long term history of Dubrovnik. She can weave facts and historical events into very interesting stories. Her knowledge, skillful storytelling, energy, and great sense of humor combine to make it a very fun and educational experience.
We absolutely adored this tour and regret not having more cash on hand to tip Vesna. She is an extremely knowledgeable and passionate guide with local insights that you couldn’t find on any other tour. We loved learning about the dark history of Dubrovnik and recommend this tour for anyone interested in crime, punishment and morbid things!!
We loved this tour and couldn’t recommend Vlaho more. From the personal experience war stories to the wonderful restaurant recommendations, Vlaho gave us a very memorable and fun experience. Definitely do this tour!!!
We had an early morning tour of old town with Mia and it was well worth it. Early is good because you miss the cruise ship crowds. She provided us with recommendations for lunch in old town as well as the greater Dubrovnik region which were exceptional. Her knowledge of the history of the area was great and we learnt a lot from the tour. She provided us with a local snack and a coffee which was great to fuel us for the walk. Best way to see the city centre in a small group setting.
