This was much more than a food tour! Right from the start Dubravka shared really interesting information about the history of Split as well as modern day life. We loved all of her stories and had a great time exploring the Old Town. The food itself was all delicious and there was plenty of it! We tasted such a good variety of things and from amazing local spots that we probably wouldn't have found on our own.
To top it all off, the recommendations for the rest of our trip were really thoughtful and helpful.

A Great Day being a “local”!
we just loved our tour with Duba and the sights, sounds, and tastes of Split. Having a knowledgeable and personable guide made the day less like a tour and more like a “conversation “ with a new friend - one that knew all the best spots to go for local food! We enjoyed all the food we had, were full when we left, and had more snacks and desserts we left with. She even gave us recommendations for our next port stop of Dubrovnik!
We’ll have fond memories of our day there and our time with Dubs.

Split in Split
I arranged a tour with Debora that split half Hidden Treasures and half Culinary Kickstart for myself and a friend in Split. It worked out really well, we met Debora and had a glass of wine and some savory pastries while we discussed what we were interested in seeing. We then strolled around the Diocletian palace neighborhood, learning about the complex history and Croatian culture. Debora was smart and fun. It felt like hanging out with a good friend.
