Saturday: Wenceslas Square Wenceslas Square is one of the most significant squares in Prague. This place is lined with cafes and restaurants where you can grab some lunch. The Municipal House is another popular attraction that’s only a walking distance from the square. There are delicious meals on the menu as well, which goes well with a glass of Czech beer. Sunday: Old Town Square Spend your Sunday exploring the Old Town Square of Prague. This market is usually filled with locals during the weekend and a great place to experience local life in Prague.
This was my first tour with a local guide, and walking away from my time with Hana - I honestly wish I’d done this a lot earlier in life when I started to travel! Hana is friendly, genuine and well educated with an incredible knowledge of Czech & European history - and all its complexities! It was a highlight of my recent visit to Prague touring the castle & castle district with Hana. I also appreciated her thoughtful conversation, and suggestions for the remainder of my time in Prague (and for my next visit). I highly recommend Hana as a local guide - look no further!! P.s - Thank you for a wonderful few hours Hana :)
Touring with Stephen was like walking around the neighborhood with an old friend. We had the best time ever! Every once in a while you get really lucky and find the perfect guide on your journey. Today we made a lifelong friend. Although he was not born in Prague his love and knowledge for the city (and country) was felt every step we took. He braved the snowy January day to share his unique insights into the city. Did not want our time with him to end! HIGHLY recommend!!
We booked the Castle and historic tour with Michal and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his home city which rubbed off on us. The tour was well paced and gave us enough time to ask questions, take pictures and stop to look at interesting locations. Michal was very easy and relaxed in his style but keeping us informed at all times. He is a great guide and his knowledge and passions about the city were evident throughout. He shared some great hints and tips for places to eat and additional things to see. Would definitely recommend Michal and we will definitely want him to guide us next time we’re in town.
Thank you Ivana for your kindness and knowledge.
