Ramses has incredible knowledge of Cairo’s history and great perspective on life in the city today. It very quickly felt like we were being shown around by a friend. Stopped for Egyptian coffee and conversation before heading deep into the old city, wrapping up with a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

Knowledgeable and friendly
Nesreen was very communicative so we knew exactly where to meet well in advance and the logistics were all very smooth. She took us to the ‘classic’ exhibits and to some less well-known things, explaining how the history progressed from old to new kingdoms and providing context and insight. Overall we had a great tour and got so much more from the experience than we would have done had we gone on our own or with a large group. Thanks Nesreen!

Wonderful experience!
We went on the food tour in Cairo just before starting a Nile cruise. Mohammed was a great guide…puntual at picking us up at our hotel, and a joy to be with. We visited 3 separate establishments to taste a variety of foods, including Koshary, Hawishi, Kofta and more. His contacts where we ate gave great explanations and offered us much information.
Would definitely recommend. It lasted 3 hours from start to finish. Our only complaint was that there was too much food!
